** ''WesternAnimation/TheJungleBook1967'': Mowgli leaves the jungle for the man-village. Baloo is heartbroken as it seems likely he will never see Mowgli again, but Bagheera assures him that Mowgli is safer in the man-village, and that is where he belongs. It's made more bittersweet once realizing that this was the final film Walt Disney ever saw completed in his lifetime. Fortunately, [[WesternAnimations/TheJungleBook2 Mowgli does see Baloo and Bagheera again in the sequel]].
