He's briefly incapacitated [[spoiler:[[DeathIsCheap due to the Rangers killing him]]]], with Rita and Zedd striking back at their rivals by sending Louie Kaboom to take over the Empire. Kaboom betrays them but is quickly overthrown by Prince Gasket, Mondo's disgraced son who tries to prove he's worthy of taking over the Empire by fighting the Rangers for the remainder of the series until Mondo resumes command in the final few episodes.

* ''Series/PowerRangersInSpace'': Astronema, Dark Specter's most loyal servant, is sent to fight the Space Rangers. She's actually [[spoiler: Andros' kidnapped sister, but is forcibly robotized once she discovers this]]. Doing so also makes her far more evil and ruthless, as she attempts to overthrow Dark Specter by creating the PsychoRangers to drain his power. Dark Specter himself is the leader of the United Alliance of Evil and the GreaterScopeVillain behind every previous villain, but never gets personally involved [[spoiler:save for when Astronema finds out the truth of her origins. [[DiscOneFinalBoss He dies in the first half of the finale]], with Astronema [[DragonAscendant taking over as the Grand Monarch of Evil]].]]

* ''Series/PowerRangersLostGalaxy'': Trakeena is the leader of the aliens sieging the Terra Venture, taking over after her father Scorpius is [[DiscOneFinalBoss killed halfway through]]. Captain Mutiny becomes the main threat for the arc set in the titular Lost Galaxy, but Trakeena pulls an EvilerThanThou and kills Mutiny the moment he sets foot outside of it. All of them are being manipulated by Deviot, who wants to attain greater power for himself by entering Scorpius' Cocoon, but Trakeena sees through his schemes and tries to kill him. [[spoiler: Both enter the Cocoon in the finale and are subject to a FusionDance, and while Trakeena ends up the dominant personality she absorbs his ruthlessness and sadism.]]

* ''Series/PowerRangersNinjaStorm'': Lothor, the leader of the alien ninjas [[spoiler: and Cam's EvilUncle]], who allows his monsters and generals to be destroyed so that he can open the Abyss of Evil. Zurgane is his HyperCompetentSidekick and OnlySaneMan, while Vexacus is TheStarscream who personally kills most of the generals.

* ''Series/PowerRangersMegaforce'': Vrak is the younger prince of the Armada and TheHeavy, leading various villainous factions into conflict with the Rangers.
** Season One: Admiral Malkor is the leader of the Warstar to whom Vrak serves as the DragonInChief. Vrak outlasts his superior after the Admiral is killed near the end of the season, taking over with his own robot minions.
** Season Two: Prince Vekar, Vrak's brother, shows up with the rest of the Armada. After he's defeated Vrak resurfaces with a plan to outright destroy earth. Emperor Mavro takes over for the last few episodes, launching one final invasion to avenge his sons.
* ''Series/PowerRangersDinoCharge:'' Sledge is the leader of the alien bounty hunters after the Energems, with Heckyl and his LiteralSplitPersonality Snide as his most powerful prisoners.
** Season One: Sledge sends his captured prisoners to steal the Energems in exchange for their freedom, with Fury as TheDragon.
** Season Two: Heckyl and Snide take over after Sledge's apparent death. Halfway through they're ousted by Sledge's employer Lord Arcanon.
