* Recent GreenLantern comics have established this with the emotional spectrum. For decades Green Lanterns were the only lanterns, and the existence of Sinestro's yellow ring was unique and specifically targeted at the Green Lantern's yellow weakness. Then, in the space of a year, we saw the introduction of Red, Orange, Blue, Indigo, Violet, Black Undead and the supreme White Lantern in a mega DCU crossover. This is what you get when you take the SixthRanger and push it past eleven. To their credit, DC did their best to put a unique spin on each one, but as to whether it worked or not, the jury is still out.
