* Tea's first reaction upon sensing her friends are in trouble is to jump into the Pyramid and help, and when her physical body enters the pyramid she takes out two of the mummies by accident with a spinning kick.

* For the first time ever, the dub has the cards laid out with proper English text. Instead of a massive picture and the background showing like in the main series, the movie dub's cards looks like they're ripped straight from the real life versions. This includes the anime-only cards, giving non-Japanese speaking fans the ability to squint and read the fine print on the movie's made up cards, most of which have text that makes sense and use the terms from the actual game.

* While not on ''Darkside of Dimensions'' or ''Bonds Beyond Time'' levels, the animation quality is very good.

** Even more awesome in the Japanese version. When he gets a clue that Yugi is telling the truth that he is being controlled, he tries to destroy the Pyramid despite the advantage it gives him, because he wants to win under his own power.
** In the dub version another cool point is that Kaiba COULD have beaten Yami much sooner than he did, he chose not to because he wanted to deal a perfect defeat - meaning knocking him out with his own god cards. Figuring out this strategy at the end gives Yami and Yugi the ability to knock out Anubis.

* Kaiba [[CurbStompBattle utterly trounces]] Pegasus with XYZ Dragon Cannon, even though Pegasus brings out his most powerful Toons in one turn, including the Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon. Kaiba systematically banishes his own monsters and summons then all at once with Return from the Different Dimension, uses Polymerization to fuse them, then uses the cannon to destroy Toon World itself, taking the Toons with it.

* When Anubis summons himself in real life and turns into a monster, Kaiba throws Yugi the Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon card. Both Yugis use its effect to destroy Anubis, causing him to melt into a pile of shadows before disappearing.
