!''VideoGame/{{Unreal}}'' and ''Unreal: Return To Na Pali'':
* Let's start with the SceneryPorn: ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kc_dGJxQC60&fmt=18 NyLeve's Falls]]''.
* The first appearance of the Skaarj. In the first part of the Rrajigar mines, steel bars lock you in a narrow corridor, then one by one [[DarknessEqualsDeath all the lights go out]]. You hear a menacing growl, and then alarms blare and the action music starts as a Skaarj scout leaps from a hidden alcove to attack. However, there's a way to escape from that area. [[spoiler:Charge the Dispersion Pistol and do a [[RocketJump Dispersion Jump]].]] You'll miss the great moment, however.
* ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sw7s0NR4Vlk&fmt=18 Bluff Eversmoking]]'', a large, fully explorable location with a lot of attention to detail. It also has some of the best subplots.
* Multiplayer-wise, ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2HH16uEKI0&fmt=18 DMDeck16]]'', by far the most awesome deathmatch level ever created in the series.
** Also ''[=DMMorbias=]'', a.k.a. the Colisseum of Destruction. Even with just one weapon, it's mayhem at the maximum level. And a helluvafun.

!''[=~Unreal II: The Awakening~=]''
* The first appearance of the [=MechaSkaarj=], which seems to be a ShoutOut to the third level of Unreal: the lift you are on judders to a stop, and again all the lights go out. Something lands heavily on the lift roof, and begins to cut the cables. Again the alarms blare, and as the lift drops out of control you see the Skaarj reflected in the sparks coming from his {{Wolverine Claws}} as he digs them into the wall to slow his descent.
* The suspenseful scene just before the appearance of the Izarians: a body is dragged under a door as you run to help, then one of the Izarians darts {{Alien}}-style across a corridor, complete with {{Scare Chord}}.
* The way the [[GiantSpider Araknids]] batter their way through the air vents on Hell is quite cool as well.

!''UnrealTournament'':
* Any assault map qualifies, but a special mention goes for ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5B9rhrFR7k&fmt=18 AS-Overlord]]'', ([[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UH4qtyjlXVg&fmt=18 part 2 here]]) the recreation of the D-Day event of the WorldWarII.
* TwoWords: ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYC6H8RUgpU&fmt=18 Facing Worlds]]''. [[http://www.gamespy.com/articles/496/496349p1.html It's mentioned among the best 10]] CaptureTheFlag [[http://www.gamespy.com/articles/496/496349p1.html levels for a reason.]] The map description of the ''2004'' version describes the arena in one of its many incarnations describes how it works and why it's so popular:
--> One asteroid. Two towers. ''Ten thousand headshots.''
** Amen, brother. This troper squeed on finding out that Epic included CTF-Face (remade as a Necris temple, but with all the features intact) in UT3's Black Edition. (And, for that matter, CTF-Coret as well, but that was probably more nostalgia for the first CTF UT map I ever played.)
* ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2HH16uEKI0&fmt=18 DM-Deck16][]]'', the UT version. Behold it's magnificence.
* ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AXo1Mj_GNo&fmt=18 DM-Morbias][]]'', again, UT version, a.k.a. "Instant Rocket Launcher Mayhem, Just Add Redeemer".
* The last match is a 1on1 match against [[spoiler:Xan (or Malcolm, Xan, or [=ClanLord=], in [=UT2004=])]] in ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQ-x8gEr0_A&fmt=18 DM-Hyperblast]]'': a ship going hyperspace. Notably, Xan in the first Tournament is a challenge because of the game's (at the time) excellent A.I. (With DynamicDifficulty for him to boot)
* ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zj9RrIRlLNM&fmt=18 DM-Barricade]]'', a castle in the first Tournament... that's floating. In a lightning storm.

!''Unreal Tournament 2003'' & ''Unreal Tournament 2004''
* [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b18Va6bl1Q4&fmt=18 The intro cutscene for Unreal Tournament 2003]], which you can also see in 2004. Accompanied with two kickass tracks and a {{Funny Moment|s}}.
* ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szv4WAwvGuQ&fmt=18 DM-Rankin]]'', by far, the most played map of [=UT2004=]. Unfortunately, it didn't received an official remake for ''Unreal Tournament III''. It helps a bit that both maps were available since the first demo. Also check the demo of the [[TournamentPlay World Cyber Games 2004]], between [=GitZzZ=] and Burnie, ([[spoiler:where Burnie won in an awesome comeback]]) which is also a jaw-dropping [=CMoA=].
* ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiJXzYa5g8g&fmt=18 ONS-Torlan]]'', also from ''2004'', which, unlike Rankin, has received an official remake, and came with the retail game. And in 5 different flavours, to top it all. It also has the distinction of being the most played Onslaught map of the game. And for good reasons.
* ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t88MAMALpxQ&fmt=18 DM-Inferno]]'', a map which takes place [[FireAndBrimstoneHell in Hell]].
* ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4jMt9w02Jk&fmt=18 AS-Mothership]]'', the raid to the Skaarj Mothership, which includes a full-fledged space fight with ships, averting both CutscenePowerToTheMax and MissedMomentOfAwesome!

!Unreal Tournament 3
* Rankin received a kind of SpiritualSuccessor in the form of ''[[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLaa-ZCXosA&fmt=18 DM-Sentinel]]''.
