* After spending so much of the story afraid, Rori [[spoiler: showing no fear of his past tormentor before beating the shit out of him when he refused to leave him alone despite several warnings]] is a good showcase of how far he's come since arriving at his new home. Even more so when you realize that Rori did exactly what one is supposed to do in his situation, no more and no less.

As we see later, his hand never healed from it. And, though he learned [[StealthPun firsthand]] not to mess with Rori, he kept doing so, earning more injuries.
