* In a less meta level, there is Angry Joe and Mazgurl taking out the systems of Zod's ship (which eventually leads to the destruction of their fleet when they actually try to fight), doing so while masterfully wiping the floor with Zod's troops.

* Production-wise, the fact that this got made at all, given the geographic disparity of the cast, the shoe-string budget, and the simple fact that it's a ''three and a half hours'' long movie with 20+ prominent characters that was written by 2 guys and filmed in less time than Hollywood films spend on the location scouting alone.

** This quick makeup job for the blood covered 8-Bit Mickey and the fake severed hand of Prick, it was simple, yet effectively awesome to see.
* Rob's response to people who complained that the SOPA jokes were "dated":
-->For the record, yes, Doug and I did discuss what we wanted to do once SOPA died. First, rewriting the whole script 4 weeks before we shoot -- especially when the actors need to see the thing -- is not smart. Second, I argued, as I still do, that it's not only relevant to keep it, but would be a disservice to the internet by dropping it. ACTA, in its first form, was still around at the time, and as I told Doug, "If you think this will go away, you're sadly mistaken." He agreed. A wise man once said: "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance." I don't remember who said it, but I believe it was some homeless dude in Wing Commander IV. It still holds true. The worst thing we can do is forget... be complacent... get sloppy... and then allow these clowns the ability to try and slip something in all over again while we're asleep at the switch. I don't care if it's a time capsule. I rather it would be. Let people remember, because it's coming back. Those that want to belittle us for referencing SOPA because they think it's old news can do so all they want. AND they can enjoy the internet freedom the rest of us are fighting to protect in the meantime. But if the hundreds of sites, individuals, and companies like ours fail to stop this ongoing assault -- and the internet becomes a barren wasteland of lawsuits and judicial censorship -- I wonder how old hat it will seem then?
* Rob's performance as the Executor. He does a fantastic impersonation of Palpatine, is genuinely creepy and spinechilling and has a passable English accent. Pretty impressive for someone who isn’t an actor. He ''did'' play the Emperor in the NC review of another ''Titanic'' sequel, and he ''did'' state that Palpatine is his favorite role to play in general.
** That sibling of his also needs some credit. If there was any doubt left that Doug would deserve to make it as a serious actor if he wanted to go down that road, then his performance in this movie demolished that.
* Points to Doug and Rob for making the Nostalgia Critic's house arrest some kind of [[ChekhovsGun Chekhov's Theme]]. The first and final parts feature the Critic's attempts to leave the house. In his first attempt, he can't leave. In his final attempt, he ''chooses'' to stay. That's quality writing right there.

* The last couple of minutes is just awesome for Ma-Ti!Spoony because he literally hacks into a computer and gives them the plans and location to where The Hole is Film/{{Contact}} style.
** Not to mention, the plans are sent to every computer in the Critic's home and the monitor attached to Spoony at the same time. Somehow.
*** In the second part, you find out that it wasn't just those two computers, but every computer.
* A meta one noticed by the cast commentary. When Critic is talking to the Chick about what he wants, Brian mused that his "I want to matter" arc was the thing that most fans said they could identify with. Nice work for a character who was originally conceived to be a Cartman-like caricature.

* Critic proving he ''can'' be a MagnificentBastard when he wants to be, by turning his house into a space-ship and therefore [[LoopholeAbuse technically not breaking his house arrest.]]

* This part has one of the most beautiful moments not only of this special but one of the most beautiful moments of all Website/ThatGuyWithTheGlasses history: The training of Luke by Oancitizen, which is shown as a beautiful reflection about what art really is, and why making a good film ''is'' important, instead of just making movies for the money, how films impact people and ultimately, what a film ''is''. We go from the roots of modern cinema to Michael Bay, it is just a wonderful journey that is a SugarWiki/MomentOfAwesome on its own.

* General Zod's entrance deserves a mention: A door slowly unfolds while some CrowningMusicOfAwesome plays full blast at the background, out of the light steps him...who promptly looks at the camera and [[{{Catchphrase}} screams]] "[[{{KneelBeforeZod}} KNEEEEEEEEEEEEL!]]" Bad. Ass.

* WebVideo/ObscurusLupa and [=JewWario=] fighting [[WebVideo/AtopTheFourthWall Mechakara]], [[WebVideo/TheNostalgiaChick Seven of Eleven]], and [[WebVideo/ToddInTheShadows RoboTodd]] to save the others. The sequence includes a CrowningMomentOfHeartwarming (Todd shaking off the assimilation) and a CrowningMomentOfFunny or two (Jew Wario reenacting The Naked Time, Seven of Eleven screaming at the sight of Todd's exposed face).

* This part has one of the most beautiful moments not only of this special but one of the most beautiful moments of all Website/ThatGuyWithTheGlasses history: The training of Luke by Oancitizen, which is shown as a beautiful reflection about what art really is, and why making a good film ''is'' important, instead of just making movies for the money, how films impact people and ultimately, what a film ''is''. ** From what we could hear, [[spoiler:Nostalgia Chick put up a heck of a fight]].

** Even better, Mickey's still most likely [[spoiler:[[https://twitter.com/8bitMickey/status/240964419121737729 covered in Prick's blood]]]] at this point.

* WebVideo/MarzGurl taking over & serving as the Captain, whilst the Critic is off-ship & Phelous [[spoiler:keeps being killed]]. Somehow.

* On the villain side, Zod and Turrell deserve one for managing to not only damage the Critic's ship, but also almost killing them all. [[spoiler: Turrell was even smart enough to capture Cinema Snob at the end and escape with no repercussions whatsoever]]. NotSoHarmlessVillain, indeed.

* The scenes with the Critic and [[spoiler: Doug]], ultimately culminating in the Critic [[spoiler: absorbing the Plot Hole and effectively becoming the universe]].

* A rare villain example as Mechakara manages to get into Turrell and Zod's ship, and single-handedly gets rid of anyone, including Zod and several troops in his way to get revenge against [[spoiler:Turrell for lying about being able to give Mechakara the secret to Malacite's Hand]], all while heavily damaged from his previous assault against the Reviewers. Even though he didn't get a chance to kill [[spoiler:Turrell]] due to [[spoiler:the Spiny Shell]], he still was badass in the process.

* Sad Panda [[spoiler: being the one to ultimately kill Turrell, Zod and Mechakara. It also a Moment of Funny in that he neither realized nor cared.]]

* The makeup work for [[spoiler:the damaged Mechakara]]. Are we sure Rob Bottin didn't work on this thing?

When he finally does decide to fight back, all he does is punch Jew Wario in the stomach to bring him down, and then goes back to reprogramming the ship as if he just swatted a fly. '''BadAss'''.
