** There's also the scene prior to that. While Mario and Pit are running by, a false Peach on a nearby hill gets ready to blast the duo with a dark cannon when suddenly it gets sliced in half and exploded by a sword strike from Link, with him and Yoshi getting ready to battle the shadowy doppelganger. In the reverse scenario, it's a false Zelda trying to blast Link and Yoshi until her cannon gets destroyed by Pit, with him and Mario facing off against her.
