* In ''The Girl of No Tomorrow'', Supergirl fights the Emerald Empress. Kara and the [[ComicBook/{{Legion Of Super-Heroes}} Emerald Eye of Ekron]] engage in an optic beam war, and Kara appears to be winning when Indigo turns up all of sudden and smashes Kara into a wall. Then both Emerald Empress and Indigo attempt to blast Supergirl into oblivion. As withstanding waves of destructive emerald and purple energy, Kara's XRayVision scans the Eye and reasons it must be the Empress' source of power. Then she quickly powerdives Indigo and turns towards the Empress. The Eye does its best to incinerate her, but Supergirl inches forward in spite of the energy blast burning her and pushing her backwards, grabs the Eye and ''rips it in half''.

* In ''Superman Family'' #183, Supergirl faces Shyla Kor-Onn, a Phantom Zoner who has stolen a fraction of her powers. As brawling in the Fortress of Solitude, Kara lets Shyla hit her, so the backlash throws the woman back into the path of PhantomZone Projector's ray, and she's sent her back in the Phantom Zone.
-->'''Supergirl:''' Luck had nothing to do with it, Shyla... I knew you couldn't control your flying ability yet, so I let you get in that last punch... Then I used Newton's Law of Motion-- for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction-- It forced you back into the Projector's ray!

* In ''Superman Family'' #187 Supergirl gets ambushed in deep-space by Klax-Ar, a lunatic who managed to reverse-engineer a ComicBook/{{Superboy}} robot into a vehicle with Kal-El's same abilities, and now wants to steal her Kryptonian powers. Kara remembers she and Superman stopped using robots because Earth's pollution gummed up their circuits, so she lures him to Earth. Once Klax-Ar 's sled starts breaking down, she punches him ''across New York'' and takes him back to a planet prison.

Cyborg Superman, Metallo, Zod, Mongul, Blanque and Eradicator gang up on Superman and are about to kill him when Supergirl swoops in on them and takes her cousin away before they can stop her. During the ensuing battle between the Superman Family and the Superman Revenge Squad, Kara fights Cyborg Superman off, knocks Zod down and curbstomps Metallo. At the end, Cyborg Superman gets stuck in the PhantomZone and both cousins agree he can stay in there.

* In ''Superman Family'' issue #204, Enchantress is draining Supergirl's powers. Supergirl manages to run away by streaking into space and then remembers Enchantress said her spell depends on an astral alignment being exactly right. So she ''kicks the Moon out of orbit'' and once June Moon's spell is disrupted, ''kicks the Moon back into place''. In [[http://comicboxcommentary.blogspot.com.es/2011/05/back-issue-box-superman-family-204-and.html a review's words]], you can consider it awesome, funny, dumb or all of it:
-->In a perfect moment of late Silver Age lunacy, Supergirl literally kicks the moon slightly out of its orbit. That is one mighty kick! You either love moments like these for their lunacy or hate them for their stupidity.

* In ''Franchise/WonderWoman'' saga "Judgment in Infinity", all heroines of Earth-One and Earth-Two join to help Wonder Woman take down the "Adjudicator". In ''Wonder Woman'' #292 Supergirl is taken to Earth-X and [[http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-BFjbO-t6yJg/T27zr950z0I/AAAAAAAAPDM/3lzvQA3It9g/s1600/ww+292-07.jpg crushes an entire Nazi army]]. As [[http://comicboxcommentary.blogspot.com.es/2012/03/back-issue-box-wonder-woman-292.html a reviewer]] puts it: "Seriously, how awesome is it to see Supergirl smashing Nazi Panzer tanks?"

* In ''Superman/Batman'' issue #9, Batman is watching Kara stealthily... until she turns around and tells she isn't impressed by his ninja antics.
-->'''Kara:''' Try that bogeyman stuff with somebody else. I can hear your heart beat from forty yards off. (muttering) If you '''had''' a heart...

* At the end of "Way of the World", Kara runs into Clayface. She lets the mud monster hit her for a bit before disabusing him of any notion he's a match for her (Kara freezes him solid, flies him way, WAY up and lets him drop).
-->'''Supergirl:''' I'm sorry, but you seem confused. Just 'cuz I let you land a few easy blows— that doesn't mean we're having a fair fight!\\
'''Clayface:''' Wh— What are you... d-doing...?\\
'''Supergirl:''' To call you "lame" and "ever so slightly beneath me" would be the understatement of the century. But it's been a bad few weeks. A shame you just happened to be the whipping boy I was looking for.

* In ''Action Comics'' issue #285 Kara has to stop an absolutely massive monster which is stomping everything in its path. She can't move it, lift it or damage it... so what she does? Linda reminds him that her contract says she makes her own hours and no one has ever complained about her or her performance... but him. The argument escalates until Pierce insults her in public, and she angrily quits, giving Pierce a piece of her mind in the process.
