** Linguini's character development, period. Remy became a chef in this movie, but Linguini became a badass. Someone who was clumsy, wishy-washy and stuttering into someone who's got enough of a spine and self-respect to fight back against any voice or claim that he's worthless. That's an hugely impressive and admirable strength for anybody, cook or no cook.

Anton actually hesitates briefly and looks surprised with the reporters also the same. From what it looks like, it's the first time someone talked back at him.
