* Farate attacking Kuchinja. It was a foolish and, in the end, fatal thing to do, but it can't be denied it was still brave, particularly since she was doing it to defend her queen.
* Tembo arriving JustInTime to prevent Kuchinja kidnapping Mohatu. The {{Badass Boast}}s he makes are delivered with just the perfect mix of contempt and condescension.
* Every time Jahili [[CallingTheOldManOut calls out Kuchinja]], but especially just before their one-on-one fight at the end of the FinalBattle.
* It's a minor moment, but the fact the head of the jackal pack not only refuses to help Kuchinja until he and his packmembers are threatened with death, he responds to Mwoga's initial "offer" by leaving her with badly-bleeding wounds on her face, neck, and chest: "Apparently he's not my friend anymore."
* Mahiri bringing down the rockslide to bury Ushindi.
* Taraji gets in some great digs on Dhahabu when standing up for herself and Jahili, particularly when getting him to see that Kuchinja is just manipulating him into turning on her.
* Jahili's fight with Kuchinja (even if he does lose in the end), as well as Dhahabu finally pinning the sadistic lion and ending his reign of terror...after which he [[WiseBeyondHisYears listens to reason and his heart]], and [[RevengeIsNotJustice instead of vengeance chooses justice]] by pardoning Jahili and his remaining uncles.
