* Chapter 0, despite being rattled from losing his memories, everyone else on the train being dead, and being thrown to the wolves of facing the Peacekeepers, after some help from Shinigami, Yuma manages to already understand for the most part how solving mysteries in the Mystery Labyrinth goes and uses them to solve his way out of his predicament, subtle foreshadowing to how Yuma's no ordinary detective.

* After spending the last two cases hesitant to seek the truth knowing that the culprits (who with the exception of fake Zilch, had some measure of sympathy) would die once the Mystery Labyrinth was destroyed, seeing Yuma decide enough was enough and ensure Icardi would be punished for his crimes is quite satisfying. Especially as at first Yuma is hesitant, but once Icardi tries to convince him Shachi had to die for this, Yuma knows he's full of crap and makes sure justice is served.

* The entire FinalBoss battle shows ''why'' Yuma is Number One of the WDO. It's essentially a weaponized Deduction Denouement and RoleReversalBoss of a Reasoning Death Match where ''you'' are the one throwing statements, and since they're all factually true, [[UnblockableAttack Makoto has to stand there and take them.]] This eventually culminates in several {{Quick Time Event}}s where you cut ''the button prompts themselves'', a quick return of GOD Shinigami to shut down a OneWingedAngel attempt, and by the end of it Makoto is in such a VillainousBreakdown his noise statements can't even make it all the way to you.

* TheReveal contextualizes who the PlayerCharacter of the game really is. It turns out we haven't been playing as detective-in-training "Yuma Kokohead", but instead have been playing as the rumoured Number One of the WDO, the top detective in the organization, this entire time. Even better is the plot-specific plan that Number One used to hide this identity, masking his Coalescence and erasing his memories of his true self with Shinigami, ''and'' setting up a BodyDouble that convinced the NDA it was the real Number One.

It goes to show that if Yakou hadn't learned the truth about Zilch and the murders of the five detectives, Yuma would've been wrongfully locked up, or worse, Executed.

The NDA describe in absolute detail with a tone of absolute justice who the true culprits are, Icardi specifically, after uncovering their true responsibility in the case with the help of Vivia, having already arrested them in advance, encountering those culprits committing their crime in action by seeing them steal the safes from Kanai Ward's banks. After their performance, they then lend the culprits for Guillaume to deal with later, taking Yuma, Fubuki, and Kurumi with them and leaving the case behind with everything resolved and the agency alive. Well, until Yomi comes back and tries to arrest Yuma for his role as a FallGuy in the case, that is.

* Though they're more of a background detail, Halara's flawless athleticism while in the Mystery Labyrinth during Chapter 1 is impressive to watch. The initial fall may have caught them off-guard, of course, but the stunts performed in the Mystery Labyrinth are far too dexterous to ignore and show that Halara isn't fooling around with their capabilities. To contextualize, Halara crouches down to stay stable on a spinning platform, lands feet first after falling upwards from the replica clocktower, and whenever they fall down into one of the four locked-room mystery replicas, they use purely their leg strength to land and aren't affected by the height of the fall at all.

After throwing the coin at the Peacekeeper's head, Halara has an opening to knock out the one blocking their way before jumping up and kicking the attacking Peacekeeper ''directly in the face'', then rushing around and punching out every other remaining one. Then after all the chaos, Halara picks up the coin and pretends nothing happened, glaring at Yuma and telling him off for “a reckless sense of justice.”

The coin hits one of the Peacekeepers next to Yomi, to his confusion, and Halara emerges from the dark hallway with Vivia next to them. Halara tells Vivia that he has to pay them 100 shien per each Peacekeeper to do all the combat work, to which he decides to help Halara out anyway. Unlike the first two battles involving large groups, however, Halara is overwhelmed and struggles to take them all on, especially in the enclosed space, but their ability to save Yuma, Desuhiko, and Fubuki regardless still makes the defense worth the effort.
