** The scene afterwards is pretty awesome itself. The second-in-command is furious at Hakuryuu and makes a futile attempt on his life, cursing him for taking away their "mother". Hakuryuu effortlessly stops his attack and [[TheReasonYouSuckSpeech tells him exactly where he can shove his vengeful loathing,]] [[WhatTheHellHero reminding him and the rest of the pirates of all the innocent lives they took]], adding that they also [[Hypocrite killed women with children of their own, and thus are in no position to hate him so when they've done the exact same thing.]] He goes on to point out that they're actually worse since unlike the mothers ''they'' killed Madaura was using them for her own gain and never really loved them at all.

* While caused him to drift away from his newfound friends, it's hard not to cheer Hakuryuu on when he kills Madaura. Whether it's out of spiteful revenge or not, [[AssholeVictim no one can say she didn't have it coming]]. The way he does it is both creepy and awesome, since it appeared that he was still under Madaura's control at the time, and all of a sudden, he just quietly smiles at her, before raising his sword and taking one swift and clean swipe at her head.

This especially applies in mastering Belial, since it had not been even at least a month when he was already able to fully utilize Belial's abilities, and efficiently combine both his Djinns' abilities in battle.
