*** That poem is a Moment of Awesome for Disney/Square Enix, for referencing it in the FIRST Kingdom Hearts. Seriously, bust out your PS2, stick in KH, and wait a while on the title screen. A cutscene starts playing, featuring the poem at the beginning and an orchestral version of Simple And Clean/Hikari. Same thing happens in ''Kingdom Hearts II''.

** It's just happened again with the announcement of the HD 2.5 Remix, which will contain Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix, Birth By Sleep: Final Mix, and a theater mode for Re:Coded. While Dream Drop Distance is still handheld-only for now, this means the whole story [[UpdatedRerelease (rereleases included)]] is now going to be avaliable on PS3 (and 3DS for KH: 3D and the playable versions of 358/2 and Coded) world wide, ''finally'' shattering the series' infamously furiating NoExportForYou embargo.

** Further on the Meta scale and dating back to the first game, is the sheer number of voice actors that reprised their roles. While only [[LiloAndStitch Deep Space]] is the only world that had every single one of its original voices return, many of the worlds had only a single voice not return (Agrabah and Beast's Castle being two of these worlds). Further, following the deaths of some of the actors, Disney and Square found some ''damn good'' impressionists to replace them, such as Susan Blakeslee whose voice is nigh indistinguishable from Eleanor Audley's. The amount of love and care that went into the voice work is amazing. This list includes (though some not initially) [[note]] [[Disney/{{Aladdin}} Aladdin, Jasmine, Abu, Jafar, Iago]], [[Disney/BeautyAndTheBeast Belle, Beast, Mrs Potts, Cogsworth, the Wardrobe]], [[Disney/{{Tarzan}} Tarzan, Clayton]], [[LiloAndStitch Gantu, The Grand Councilwoman, Dr Jumba Jookiba, Sparky, Stitch]], [[TheNightmareBeforeChristmas Jack Skellington, the Mayor, Oogie Boogie]], [[Franchise/FinalFantasy Aerith, Cloud, Sephiroth, Tifa, Leon, Zack Fair, Auron, Yuna, Rikku, Paine]], [[TheHunchbackofNotreDame Victor, Hugo]], [[Disney/PeterPan Wendy]], [[Disney/{{Hercules}} Herc, Young Herc, Hades, Megara]], [[PiratesOfTheCaribbean Barbossa in the Australian release]], [[TheLionKing Pumbaa, Banzai, Ed, Rafiki]], [[Disney/{{TRON}} Tron]], [[Disney/{{Mulan}} Mulan, Shang, the Emperor, Chien Po, Yao, Lang]], and by extension of Wendy, [[Disney/AliceInWonderland Alice]].[[/note]].
