* A bit more of a meta example, but Kouta Hirano apparently thought Alucard cocking his gun in the TV series with his teeth was so cool that he incorporated into some later chapters of the manga. Which is pretty impressive, considering that Kouta Hirano apparently ''hated'' the TV series.

*** It gets better. After Incognito tears Alucard to pieces and Seras is badly wounded, Alucard uses Captain Pickman's blood, along with Commander Fargason's and Seras', to restore himself. That's right: a MauveShirt helped save ''[[InvincibleHero Alucard.]]''
*** And he does this while only appearing in like [[OneSceneWonder 10 minutes of screen time]] in only the last 3 episodes.

* Creator/FUNimation finishing the English dub of Hellsing Ultimate, especially since it's been in DevelopmentHell since GeneonEntertainment closed.
** Not only that, but bringing on the original voice actors, including Alucard's Creator/CrispinFreeman, to finish the series. It goes to show how willing Creator/FUNimation is to keep the dubs of properties they acquire as consistent as possible (as previously demonstrated with ''Anime/RebuildOfEvangelion'').
* ''Hellsing Ultimate'' landing a spot on Creator/{{Toonami}} after ''Manga/BlackLagoon'' finishes... and getting [[AdoredByTheNetwork unnecessary reruns of the original]] ''Manga/{{Naruto}}'' kicked off the block in the process.

* While it's pretty much entirely negated by Maxwell skipping his meds and going all [[KillEmAll Arnaud Amalric]] on London, the Ninth Crusade. Their initial orders are to go to London specifically to fight the Nazi-Vampire Invasion. Let's reiterate that: About 3,000 men belonging to the remnants of the Crusader Orders (who are mainly concerned with charity and relief work nowadays) are being sent into a literal hellstorm swarming with vampires. While it may not be the all-dominating center of life like in the Middle Ages, the Catholic Church is still a force to be reckoned.

* When Anderson has become a divine monster, one of his bayonets is powered up to the point ''[[HealingFactor Alu]][[UpToEleven card]]'' is ''thoroughly'' unable to regenerate, burning every familiar (and thus, Alucard's extra lives) and cleaving him in half like a blowtorch through a block of butter. For the first time, the vampire king closes his eyes and gives up hope as the blade just keeps going down, down and down. Cue Seras stopping the blade and giving Alucard enough time to pull his shit together - not to just kill Anderson, but to actually ''bring him back to his senses''.

** The entire fight between Alucard and Alexander Anderson is perhaps the pinnacle of awesome for the series. The battle between the two most powerful characters in the series going full force at each other. From Alucard unleashing Level Zero on Anderson, to Anderson's refusal to give up even after the odds are stacked against him. Their next confrontation is no less great, with God Monster Anderson coming closer than anyone to actually killing Alucard. If not for a last second helping from Seras towards Alucard's infuriated counterattack, it's possible that Anderson may have prevailed where no other person, human or vampire, had succeeded before. It ultimately ends with both opponents showing mutual respect and understanding towards each other, and Alucard giving Anderson a [[WhenHeSmiles genuine smile]] ''and'' a final "amen" as a sign of absolute respect for his greatest rival. A moment of awesome, tear-jerking, and heartwarming all rolled into one.

** Pick a RousingSpeech by Pip Bernadotte. ''Any'' RousingSpeech. The man would make Winston Churchill proud.

** Knocking out [[spoiler: Zorin with the butt of his rifle.]] If that doesn't seem impressive, remember that [[spoiler: Zorin is one of the most elite of Millennium's vampire soldiers, and Pip is just an [[BadassNormal ordinary human]].]]

** And as mentioned above, [[spoiler: [[DyingMomentOfAwesome in his final moments,]] he gives Seras the chance to [[TookALevelInBadass take a level in badass]] ''and'' pull her own Crowning Moment of Awesome.]]
** He even gets one after that when Seras is fighting the werewolf. Nothing can stop Pip from being badass, not even [[spoiler: death]]

His [[spoiler: final stand against Alucard has him battle valiantly against Alucard in Release State 0, tear through swathes of the undead army just to ''get'' to Alucard while almost being killed in the process, then sacrificing his own life to become what is essentially a monster born of God's powers. Even his death is a CMOA: Alucard shows him genuine respect for his total determination, even if he did turn himself into a monster.]]

** And Integra, upset and furious after [[spoiler:watching Alucard vanish, removes her coat and duels the Major in a ShutUpHannibal way. She unflinchingly takes a ''[[MoeGreeneSpecial grazing shot to the eye]]'' and kills the man with a single bullet and proceeds to tell him that all his ideas are warped and wrong. That Alucard "will return!" She was right]].

*** Keep in mind that when she discovered [[spoiler: Alucard in the basement]], she was all of ''12 years old.'' She had recently seen her father die and [[spoiler:her uncle]] try to kill her. And the men trying to kill her get [[CurbstompBattle slaughtered]] by the EldritchAbomination in the basement. Any ordinary kid would have been reduced to a quivering ball of tears by the ordeal. What does she do? [[spoiler: She stands up to Alucard and impresses the immortal vampire king so much ''he swears his eternal loyalty to her.'']]

** A similar scene from OVA 8 during [[spoiler: the Vatican Invasion of London]]. Though, it is far less hammy.

** Alucard himself believed so, just seconds before they [[spoiler: started taking the Zeppelin down together while he fought Walter]].
* From OVA 8, the whole scene with the Major conducting the war looked ''awesome.'' He was just going through all the gestures like he was literally making a symphony, ignored Doc completely, and didn't even flinch when a helicopter came to shoot him down. He already knew that [[spoiler:Walter was going to help him out.]] It was definitely impressive to watch.

* The Major's flashback in OVA X provides a truly awesome one. It shows him as a Nazi officer fighting in Berlin during the Russian invasion 1945 and surrounded by a Soviet fireteam; [[spoiler: the Russian soldiers knock him to the ground and beat him, and one shoots him several times in the chest as the group walks away.]] After they leave, a pool of blood starts flowing towards [[spoiler: the Major as he struggles to pick himself up.]] He looks at it and sees [[spoiler: that this is the work of a dark force offering him the chance to become an immortal monster of carnage.]] And how does he respond? With one word: [[spoiler:Begone.]] It's his life and soul being bargained for, and nothing in this world can convince him to give them up. As the wave of blood [[spoiler: splashes back, unable to reach the Major,]] you can't help but admit that for all his depravity, [[spoiler: the Major values his humanity more than almost anyone else in the series, enough to reject the scepter of unholy power where supposedly nobler warriors like Alucard and Anderson willfully took it]], and as [[spoiler:the Major smiles while watching Doc rush in to save him]], you can forget everything else about him for a brief moment and share in his personal victory; the triumph of the human spirit over the temptations of monstrous power.

* OVA 10: Seras [[spoiler: and Pip]] vs. [[TheDragon the Captain]]. Not only does Seras defeat an opponent that Alucard and Walter were forced to retreat from, but the Captain himself proves his badass credentials by utterly ''[[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown dominating]]'' their fight until [[DeathSeeker he]] equips her with the means to kill him.

* Alucard [[BigDamnHeroes saving his master]] by [[CurbstompBattle one-shotting]] [[spoiler: Bubbancy]] in Episode 9.
** From that same episode: [[spoiler: Integra is hypnotized and bitten by a vampire pretending to be her sister.]] So how does she deal with it? [[spoiler: By stabbing herself in the ''neck'' with a knife to get rid of the vampire taint in her body and prevent herself from becoming a ghoul.]] That takes some goddamn ''willpower''.

** Though it's more of a villainous example, [[spoiler: Incognito and Bubbancy working together (Bubbancy hypnotizing the higher-ups of the Hellsing organization so she can assassinate Integra, and Incognito using Alucard's [[BloodKnight desire]] to fight a [[WorthyOpponent truly powerful enemy]] against him so that he's not there to save his master. They came pretty damn close to succeeding, too.]]

* As noted above, Seras' battle against [[spoiler: Paul Wilson]] in Episode 12 is pretty cool, particularly compared to the [[MsFanservice level]] of Chickification she was put through [[TookALevelInBadass earlier]] in the anime compared to the manga. Just goes to show, no matter what canon you're in, messing with Seras Victoria is a [[BewareTheNiceOnes ''bad'']] idea.

* Incognito, in the last few episodes, for [[spoiler: turning Alucard's jackal shots against him,]] and actually [[spoiler:[[HeroKiller killing]] him.]] Albeit [[LikeYouWouldReallyDoIt temporarily]]. ''Again.''
** Plus, the fact that in the end, [[spoiler: although Incognito dies and London is saved, [[TheBadGuyWins the villains kinda ''win.'']] There's not much left of the Hellsing organization by the time the series is over. The survivors are imprisoned, and the Government's officially disbanded Hellsing. Even the Major couldn't manage that.]]

* No love for Captain Pickman? The man is a competent, [[BadassNormal hardy]], [[NervesOfSteel level-headed]], [[spoiler: MauveShirt]] who survives the death of his entire squad and fights by Alucard's side in the final battle, when virtually all other military offficers, in the TV series and OVA alike, died horrible, pathetic deaths. [[spoiler: And when he does die, he doesn't go out like a wimp, either. He takes a shot to the gut and asks Alucard to [[MercyKill kill him]] so that he'll [[DyingAsYourself die as a human,]] not as an undead monster.]] Even Alucard seems impressed.

** As the OVA and manga make clear, only a few individuals are strong enough to resist the lure of immortality. [[spoiler: Alucard wasn't, and neither was Anderson.]] That means that possibly the only two people to refuse immortality are [[spoiler: Captain Pickman and the bloody [[BigBad Major]] himself.]]
