Shiho is unfazed by this question, telling Miho that the Nishizumi style expected Maho to do so and that Miho will understand one dayThe fact that Miho doesn't ultimately accept the Nishizumi Style but instead pursues her own, becomes more awesome in light of this. Maho notices how surprising and unlike Miho it is for her to do so, and apologizes for driving her to that point with her aloof behavior when the issue had first been brought up. The question might not have gotten much of a response out of Shiho, but it fulfilled Miho's ultimate goal.

* Rabbit Team is a series of subtle and unseen awesomes in the Anzio OVA.
** The day before the match, finding that they had a deficiency in driving, they rectify it in one day.
** In the actual match, Azusa finds two low-profile small Semoventes stopped and in the shadows before they see her large moving tank in the sun. Aya then hits it, casually, on the move.
** They then get chased but Azusa and Karina control the tank so well that none of the shells hit, using no more than gentle S-turns and without speed-killing, wheel-shearing maneuvers (this demonstrates an excellent understanding of the gunnery OODA loop).
** When it is finally their turn to counterattack, Aya and Ayumi land shots to within a car-width of the Semoventes despite moving at maximum speed against zigzagging targets close to their maximum speed at ranges of over a kilometer.
** Azusa then had her crowning moment of awesome. She stops the tank to direct fire. Let's consider her challenges. 1) The cupola has no magnification (neither, by the way, do the gunnery scopes of the M3 Lee). 2) It also has no reticule markings. 3) She is correcting the fire of a second gun using the shellfall of a different, non coaxial gun with grossly different ballistics (fire correction is usually done with the same gun). 4) The targets are safely over a kilometer away, moving fast in zigzags plus are climbing a hill, thus requiring a lead computation in 2-axes. 5) She has to command the firing which is less precise than pressing a button. She (and her crew) pushes past all these odds to land a kill first-time.
** They then chase the other Semovente, which is only less than 1200m from Anchovy and the M3 is over a kilometer behind. In an unshown display of massive driver skill superiority (the M3 does have superior catalog speed, but it is not close to twice as fast), they moved so fast they got in ahead and around the Semovente and waited for it to show up, killing it immediately after it rolled down a cliff. No one in Anzio ever saw it coming.
** Sometimes, the best awesomes are those that are subtle or even unseen.

* The series penchant for scenes being both a HeartwarmingMoment and an AwesomeMoment is not surprising, given that its very point seems to be to drive home the notion that you CAN be a Badass without being a Jerkass.
