* Two sets of Tag Team Tournaments have been held in the Arena. * [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=14315151240A21923900&page=14616#comment-365378 The Tide of Flesh]] is one of the largest-scale Arena battles that didn't jump straight to a clash of galaxy-exploding supergods. A huge swathe of the map is overrun by hordes of skittering, seething, hateful and hungry space monsters. [[Franchise/{{Halo}} The Flood]], [[Franchise/StarCraft the Zerg]], [[Franchise/{{Metroid}} X Parasites]], [[VideoGame/DeadSpace Necromorphs]], [[TabletopGame/Warhammer40000 Tyranids]], and [[VideoGame/KnightsOfTheOldRepublic Rakghouls]] all come together to wage war on the Arena. Despite the abominations they're up against, despite the odds being so heavily stacked against them, the Arena's heroes hold fast and stand their ground to defeat the invasion, finishing the job with ''[[TropeNamer the]] [[Anime/SpaceBattleshipYamato original]]'' WaveMotionGun.

** [=Bolded1=], the event runner: During the final battle, Garon has acquired the [[Franchise/JoJosBizarreAdventure Stand 「Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap」]] and used it to make the bodies of alternate versions of his foes rain down to try and wipe them out by invoking NeverTheSelvesShallMeet, but [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=14315151240A21923900&page=15170#comment-379227 when Peppino collides with his alternate selves they fuse into a Centipeppino that just keeps going.]] [[https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=14315151240A21923900&page=15182#comment-379547 Corrin gets to deliver the righteous final blow upon Garon himself,]] restoring both the universal stability and the memory of the Nohrian retainers (including his beloved Beruka) who were being mentally "replaced" by their dead alternate selves. * A [=1v1=] between [[Franchise/DragonBall Yamoshi, the original Super Saiyan (God)]] and a massively buffed version of [[Film/GodzillaFinalWars Monster X]], complete with two of the best songs to be associated with ''Dragon Ball Super'' and a traditional arms-race-esque series of transformations that takes Yamoshi all the way to Blue just to gain the edge over Monster X's final form, [[CompositeCharacter Kaiser Ghidorah]]. Beginning near-humbly compared to what would come with the arrival of Kroq-gar and Apothea, things soon spiraled deep out of control, leading the majority of the arena's population to flee to Hub Centralis- and even then, the chaos of bloodshed was so thick the ''arena itself'' had to be evacuated for a time, courtesy of Exotic Venture's near-limitless supply of ships. From strange, sentient nose-monsters to strange feline khymera to monstrous mutants to soaring phantoms, for once the enemy was an army more dangerous than just faceless drones to slaughter - and opposing them, a force working from the expanding Church of Gor, holding the line against innumerable warp-beasts and abominations. In the chaos, there was never a dull moment- like Evelyn and Loki turning whole crowds of people into mindless monsters, Adam and Eve teaming up against a common foe for the very first time, Makima working for once almost entirely with selfless intent, Philip and his Silver Knight showing what they're capable of and holding the front line, Hit singlehandedly defending the ''entire city of Aurum'', and a whole host of smaller moments from other characters as well. None of the attacks hit, and Joshua calls down the Moon to crash in, [[{{VideoGame/TheLegendOfZeldaMajorasMask}} Majora-style.]] With to time to lose, Elizabeth charges another Megidolaon, but Joshua flees to the UG.

What began as a duel of blades quickly escalated into a brutal hand to hand brawl as Darth Vader and The Persuer had their own duel beginning at the same time. The battle reached a head when Stormer activated his Gigabolt Tornado, burning and shocking Ryuko as he was being brutally beaten to death by her fists. In the end, Ryuko won out, reversing a last ditch attempt by Stormer to stab her in the heart with his blade, Raijin.

After finally cornering the mob boss, however, she reveals her terrifying Limit Breaker form and proceed to ''shatter the mountains'', killing off several characters and causing the survivors and the newcomers to group up to try and fight her. Gods, powerful sorcerers, dragons, powerful technomancers, Kirby, Sisters, the Homunculi, Dragon Ball characters and other powerful individuals launch themselves at Troa, who manage to outmatch them all, killing a few of them in the process.
