* Megan proving Drake innocent in "Honor Council". She gives Josh Mindy's transcript indicating that she Mrs. Hayfer blemished her straight-A transcript by giving her a B in her class, establishing that Mindy had a strong motive to pull the prank.

** In the same episode, we have Josh defending Mindy and going off on Drake. Josh gets very few epic speeches in the show, but this... this is definitely one of them. Special mention goes to Josh Peck, whose delivery of the speech was pretty damn top notch for a sitcom actor on a kid's television network.

* It's not a main character ''per se'', but they get one in "Driver's License". Drake and Josh are assigned to two driving instructors: respectively, a [[ThePollyanna pretty, fun-loving young woman]] and a [[GrumpyBear cranky, curmudgeon old lady]]. Drake is having the best driving test of his life as his instructor enjoys it. Josh? Not so much. The awesome part comes in when we hear each of their results: Josh expects that his instructor will fail him because she was ornery and grumpy the whole time. But to his surprise, she says he ''passed''. She could've given him a bad mark, but she tells him his driving was one of the best she had ever seen. Meanwhile, you have Drake, who thinks his instructor will pass him just because she had a good time, but she doesn't sugar-coat that she ''can't'' pass him. [[SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome Just because she enjoyed the ride doesn't mean she can pass a reckless driver in good conscience.]] At the end of the day, both instructors gave each step-brother the driving grade they deserved without prejudice.
