Karin knows Tao is evil, and so gives him water without a fuss (As it's just rain water). When Tao decides to test whether or not his strength has increased, threatening to kill Upa if it hasn't, Karin uses some super-speed to fool the mercenary; Tao's Dodon Ray couldn't break a pillar in the sanctuary, but Karin's ''could.'' Then, to really twist the knife, Karin gives Tao a ride back down on a black Kinto'un (So he won't get stronger climbing down)...and then drops him!
