* Zannah uses her guile and Sith sorcery to infiltrate the Jedi temple in Rule Of Two. After using a spell to conceal her true nature, and taking on a false identity, she is able to walk right into the home of her mortal enemy. Searching through the archives for hours without anyone being the wiser. If not for her unexpectedly running into Darvoit, her plan would've gone off flawlessly.

* In "Rule of Two", Bane gets an epic moment after his visions initially strand him on Onderon's moon with no ship or way to get off. He promptly takes control of a large member of the local wildlife and flies it to Onderon itself when they pass close enough, showing up in time to save Zannah from a group of smugglers.

* Prior to their ultimate confrontation, Bane is forced into a sudden altercation with Zannah at the stone prison. Despite the disadvantages of having just enduring poison torture, [[FeelingTheirAge the tremor in his left hand]] and above all [[NoGearLevel having no access to his lightsaber]], he decides to engage in psychological manipulation to defend himself. Goading Zannah (who usually fights in a defensive style) into attacking him, he uses this to slightly wrong-foot her and engage him in close quarters combat. At this range, he is able to control the fight by being defensive but still trying to use jiu-jitsu to grapple her at close range and attempt to nullify her advantage of a dual bladed lightsaber. At one point, he's nearly able to break one of her ankles, which would possibly have ended the battle right then and there. Reaching a stalemate, he then uses Force lightning to trigger an explosive charge hidden in the wall, separating them until he can regroup and at full strength. Zannah only belatedly realises that he played her like a fiddle, engaging him on his advantageous martial terms rather than her thinking to use her Sith sorcery to beat him (which he would be comparatively helpless to defend against).

-->'''Darth Bane''': I know what it means to suffer. I used to be a victim. But I refused to accept my lot in life. I made myself strong. Those who are victims have no one to blame but themselves. They do not deserve pity; they are victims because of their own failures and weaknesses.

** [[OrIsIt Maybe.]] The last passage of ''Dynasty of Evil'' was rather ambiguous, enough so that this troper was skeptical on who was actually in control of Zannah's body. Either way, the whole fight was definitely amazing to read.
