* The Absorbing Man is a guy who can absorb the physical properties of anything he touches. Daredevil is a badass whose powerset consists of heightened senses and a personal radar. You'd think it'd be a CurbStompBattle, right? Wrong - when the Absorbing Man goes on a rampage in downtown Manhattan, Daredevil takes him on and takes a serious beating, but then we see why Matt Murdock's been able to triumph over villains who completely outclass him in power. The Absorbing Man absorbs the properties of the diamonds he's stolen, and suddenly becomes as hard and strong as diamond. This gives a badly wounded Daredevil the opportunity he needs, as he uses his radar sense to find all the little flaws that appear in the Absorbing Man's diamond body and start chipping away at them. Eventually, the Absorbing Man literally falls to pieces from all of Daredevil's attacks, even though DD is just about ready to collapse. Keep in mind that the Absorbing Man is a regular dance partner of both ComicBook/TheMightyThor and ComicBook/IncredibleHulk.

* Matt managing to defeat Typhoid Mary who's been hunting him all this time under orders from Fisk in Issue #297. How? By weaponizing DatingCatwoman. Daredevil simply lures Mary out and seduces her into bed by playing on her attraction to him, filed out false paperwork and tipped her location to have her committed to a mental institution in advance, and tricked her into reverting to her harmless Mary persona right before he had her taken away in a straitjacket by the authorities. Note Matt feels terrible about this afterwards, but it shows when it comes to planning, the man is TheCharmer and TheChessmaster in his own right.

Note Matt feels terrible about this afterwards, but it shows when it comes to planning, the man is TheCharmer and TheChessmaster in his own right.right.
* The climax of the landmark Daredevil: Born Again storyline, where Matt Murdock, whose life had been utterly destroyed by the Kingpin after his identity was discovered, is getting his act together. The Kingpin gets desperate, and gets a PsychoForHire CostumeCopycat to dress as Daredevil and kill Murdock's friends, framing him for the crime. Matt saves his friends, kicks the crap out of the impostor, steals his costume, and goes off to take on [[PsychoSerum drug-fueled]] SuperSoldier Nuke in one of the most memorable issues in Marvel history.
** Specifically, in issue #232, when he kisses Karen Page and dons the costume (for the first time in several issues). He gets ready to fight Nuke, and the iconic final image of the comic book is a teaser for next month's issue, with the words "'''NEXT: ARMAGEDDON''" imposed over a shot of ''Murdock in front of a wall of flames''. It's that awesome.
*** The Avengers turning up. As the narration puts it, Captain America speaking in a voice that sounds like it could command a God, and does.
* Four words; [[http://daveslongbox.blogspot.com/2005/10/f-yeah-files-2-daredevil-born-again.html "There is no corpse."]]
* Brian Michael Bendis' run on the second series also yielded some incredibly memorable moments:
** Murdock beating a legion of Yakuza hitmen while walking at night...''using only his walking cane''.
*** Yakuza Hitmen who were taking ''superpower drugs'' of the caliber that once one person taking them took down ''Spider-Woman''. 100 of them! All armed to the teeth! And the tongues!
** The "Hardcore" arc saw the Kingpin send a number of enemies to fight Murdock and bring down his resolve. The story culminates in ''two crowning moments of awesome''.
*** A no-holds-barred fight with Bullseye, which ends with Murdock ''carving a target into Bullseye's head'', and
---->'''Daredevil''': [[DestinationDefenestration Get out of my house, Lester!]]
*** The final showdown with the Kingpin, during which Murdock ''mounts him on a car and drives him through the wall of a bar'', then '''declares HIMSELF the Kingpin of Hell's Kitchen'''.
* Bullseye himself gets a few [=CMoAs=] in ''Comicbook/{{Daredevil}}''. Personally his fight with Elektra (Given a ShoutOut in the Film) culminating with "You're pretty good, but me? I'm Magic" is one of my all time favourite comic moments.
* Issues #30-32 of Volume 1, when Murdock loses his radar sense due to an experimental power ray invented by Cobra and Mr. Hyde. When the two villains attempt to rob a jewelery store, Murdock goes to face them, despite having no radar or sight. He scares the duo off by ''walking a high-wire rope between two buildings''.
* Daredevil Vol 1 #304, May 1992. "34 Hours". Matt manages to stop a stressed cop from shooting an indie film star with a fake gun, a pedophile from abducting a little boy, and a martial arts performer from injuring himself, ''all at the same time''. Ready? Matt's perched on an arch, about to eat an apple. He senses the cop's rising tension, the pedophile offering to "lift the kid up" so he can get a better photo, and the can belonging to the sword guy (who has excellent sword-juggling banter) rolling towards him. As Matt stands up, the can rolls under the sword guy's foot, and he falls backward. The pedo tightens his grip on the kid, the cop pulls his gun out, and Daredevil leapes from the arch as the sword falls. Pedo threatens to break the kids arm, and the cop flashes his badge and revolver at the actor. People react in surprise as they notice DD, who lands, rolls, and grabs the falling sword. "Mind if I borrow this?" The actor tries to show the cop the gun's fake, but he's not buying it. DD pivots with one hand on a wall, and ''throws'' the sword at the pedo. It grazes his arm, and lets go of the kid in shock. Just as the cop pulls the trigger, DD dives forward, catching the hammer on his hand. Keep in mind he has SuperSenses, and it hurts like billy-o. The cop apologizes, and DD points him toward the pedo. At the request of the people of New York, DD bows. And the rest of that comic is pretty much just DD being awesome.
* Daredevil in the Shadowlands arc actually murders Bullseye on tv. It's so awesome, even J. Jonah Jameson spends more time tearing Bullseye down than actually condemning Daredevil for what happened.

* During the Street of Poison arc in the Captain America comics, the drug empires of Kingpin and Red Skull clash. Realizing if the state continues it would result in both groups being exposed they decide to call a truce. The Red Skull, especially confident since he is now in a cloned body of Captain America and thus possessing similar physical capabilities of the SuperSoldier, decides to settle the affair in personal combat. Kingpin proceeds to hand him his ass and to top it off, he coolly lies through his teeth to Cap who arrived a few minutes later.

* Foggy Nelson in the 2012 series. DD has just received the thrashing of his life from Ikari. Meanwhile, Foggy is in the hospital, having been diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma. DD rushes to his side and rescues him from being killed by the still-unknown BigBad. Foggy insists that his BFF has to calm down. By now, Matt is totally frazzled, facing an enemy who has all his heightened senses ''plus'' sight. And he doesn't know who's pulling Ikari's strings either. So Foggy takes the lead and helps DD figure out the identity of whoever's behind all these attempts to kill him. Surpriiiiiise! It's [[spoiler:Bullseye]]. Foggy does all this ''while battling cancer.'' Which is...actually kinda badass.

* ''Daredevil'' #300 involves the Kingpin's empire crashing down around him. His assets have been looted by HYDRA, the other gang lords are no longer afraid of him, and Daredevil tricks the Kingpin into destroying the evidence that could have been used to frame him for murder. The Kingpin suffers an epic VillainousBreakdown, before he's arrested by federal agents. His bail is paid by another gang lord, who offers to give him a place to stay. Unfortunately, it turns out that the other gang lord only bailed out the Kingpin so he could humiliate the Kingpin and boss him around. An enraged Kingpin [[EyeScream brutally kills the gang lord by driving his broken walking stick into the gang lord's eye]], and then goes on the run as both the federal agents and the gang lord's minions are after him. Now the Kingpin is determined to claw his way back, just the way Daredevil did in the ''Born Again'' storyline.

* In a recent issue of Charles Soule's run of Daredevil Matt decides to put a hit out on himself as a way of taking down more supervillains and help pay for his partner; BlindSpot, medical bills who had his eyes gouged out by the serial killer muse.
* In the next issue Bullseye attempts to shoot Matt with a high power sniper rifle. As the Matt's inner dialogue reveals he is tempted to let Bullseye kill him after having lost faith in thinking that everything he has done in his years as a hero have made the world a better place. It isn't until he remembers what a priest who he had been consulting earlier on his break in faith had told them that God gave humanity an imperfect world and gave humans the ability to see that is imperfect and to make it better as a way of making sure once the goal of a perfect world is achieved that we will never let it go. Forward to the present Daredevil BLOCKS it with his club. As Matt proceeds to beat the living crap out of Bullseye again we get this beautiful monologue that sums of Matts heroism and selflessness wonderfully:
-->'''Matt''': I will never see a perfect world I'm blind to it. Its Darkness for me everywhere. Deep, endless. I'm not fighting for myself I'm fighting for everyone-- so they might get to see it. I will fight. Forever. For Everyone whether they know it or not. Whether they are watching or not.
* The 5 part ''Man Without Fear'' miniseries. After having barely survived being hit by a truck Matt is over the course of the series afraid to become a superhero and even says to countless friends and allies that he’s quitting and while he tries to recover he is tainted by a psychological emodiement of Fear. However after scaring off Kingpin (who had come to kill him while he was in the hospital) Matt comes to terms that while he is afraid he’ll be ''damned'' if he’s gonna let that stop him from protecting his city.

* Bullseye is very much this. His demand when he's told to kill Elektra and Daredevil?
-->'''Bullseye:''' I want a fucking costume.
** Plus when he kills Elektra... It's so hammy.
--> '''Bullseye:''' You're good, baby. But me... I'm magic.
--> ''(Bullseye flicks out an Ace of Spades and slices Electra's throat with it. Then he catches her thrown sai and grabs her.)''
--> '''Bullseye:''' And for my next trick...
--> ''(He stabs her, making the sai 'disappear'.)''
* Young Matt effortlessly humiliating the trio of bullies who were getting their kicks by picking on a blind kid.
** To elaborate, before Matt's accident, they beat him up after goading him into a fight. After Matt's left blind, they find him in the same alleyway & mock him for his accident, before challenging him to fight. As they start to walk away, Matt calmly responds "okay" and proceeds to repeatedly slap the lead bully across the face with his cane, before tripping him up after he throws a punch. A second kid runs at Matt, only for him to move & send the kid running into the garbage, and then Matt promptly knocks the final kid on his ass with a backflip kick.
* The dialogue at the end pretty much tells us viewers of the end of Kingpin's Career.
--> '''Kingpin:''' You hear that blind man? They're sirens, they're coming for you
--> '''Dardevil:''' For me? Didn't you hear? The word's out on the Kingpin, they're coming for you. I can hear the police radios from here.
--> '''Kingpin:''' No...I swear I'll tell them who you are.
--> '''Daredevil:''' Go ahead, tell them. Tell the guys at Riker's all about how you got beat by a blind man. It'll be like blood in the water.
--> '''Kingpin:''' Don't you worry about that, because I'll get out.
--> '''Daredevil:''' I know, and I'll be waiting. Justice is served.
** Before that, we see Daredevil gain the upperhand with his Radar sense and finishing it off with him breaking both of Fisk's Kneecaps in one swift motion. You could hear the bones crunch twice from it, once from the kick and the other from Kingpin falling onto the ground, causing him to scream in immense pain. In the comics, Daredevil crippled the Kingpin. In the movie, he made him scream when he did it.
* The bar fight scene where we first see Daredevil in action, it's even more awesome in the director's cut.

* Look at the main page quote. Reflect on this simple fact: ComicBook/CaptainAmerica looks up to Daredevil. Steve Rodgers, the Star Spangled Man With A Plan, ''the'' Marvel Universe's BigGood, looks up to Matt Murdock. That should tell you ''exactly'' how awesome he is.

* The Absorbing Man is a guy who can absorb the physical properties of anything he touches. Daredevil is a {{Badass}} whose powerset consists of heightened senses and a personal radar.
