And after she [[EatMe battles the queen from the inside]], the queen hacks up both Marcy and Sprig (with the former having an 'EyeColourChange' herself, showing not just Anne getting these).

* Headmaster Herringbone says that Sprig is the only one to ever get past campus security, and even after everything that's happened, still finds Sprig impressive enough to maintain his offer of admission to the university for the foreseeable future.

* Anne and Sprig win the derby, despite being first timers at the sport.

* The Plantars displaying perfect teamwork while fighting the stingrays, by using techniques from their earlier adventures like Sprig and Anne's "Set them up/knock them down" routine or Polly's super spit.

* Sprig and Ivy's scheme to win the scary story contest- Sprig telling a story about a monster followed by Ivy showing up dressed as it.
* The atmosphere of the episode is ''spectacular'', combining writing, sound design, voice acting, animation and art direction to make each scary story seem genuinly chilling, working perfectly despite (or because of) the myriad of jokes.

* Wally manages to become Anne's equal at Muy Thai just by watching her teaching Polly.

* Anne shows her bravery all throughout the episode, first throwing away her coat to distract the birds that were attacking them, at the cost of rising hypothermia. Then she tries to save a family from an avalanche, only to find out there was no one in the house to begin with. Last, her final task sees her saving Valeriana even though she had no obligation to and had figured out how to leave the platform of the trial on her own. Anne proves she's a worthy bearer of the power of the calamity gem of the heart, not only displaying incredible courage, but also showing how much she's grown since her arrival in Amphibia by learning to take responsibility for her actions, learning from her mistakes, and doing the right thing even when she doesn't have to.

* Sasha is a walking moment of awesome, but the cherry on top has to be her '''single-handedly''' pulling the warhammer free out of sheer force of will, activating her calamity powers in the process. She's skilled, smart, and a force to be reckoned with all on her own.

* Sasha [[BigDamnHeroes saving Anne, Marcy and the Plantars from the temple's first trial]] by slashing in half one of the lava worms attacking them and lifting the heavy hammers provided for the test like it's nothing. And then the way she completes the final challenge. With the Plantars, Grime, and Marcy all unable to move due to the increased gravity of the room, Anne and Sasha are the only ones left standing. Eventually they both fall to the ground, but Anne encourages Sasha by bringing up her relentless determination and her inability to give up on her goals. Sasha then gets up, removes her cloak and boots, which weigh so much they ''crack solid stone'', and after climbing the toad colossus she uses the gravitational pull to slice the final boss in half, proving that she has enough persistence that she is worthy of the power of the gem of strength.

* Grime is [[HiddenDepths so good at playing the harp]] that he not only wins the battle of the bands, but is able to keep the audience's attention for ''three hours''.

* While they are the bad guys, you have to give Sasha and Grime props for smoothly taking seize of Newtopia.

* The rematch between Anne and Sasha. Their first duel ''pales'' in comparison to this battle, Anne and Sasha using dynamic attacks, smooth choreography, and fast-paced movement. And along with Sasha's betrayal, Anne was too fed up and angry to fix their relationship, let alone hold back in fighting her. Whatever bridges between the two were left have all but ''burned''. Of note is that in a reversal of their first duel, Sasha is the one who disarms Anne, while Anne resorts to CombatPragmatism to gain the upper hand, [[ClothFu blinding Sasha with her own cloak]] before punching her out. It's a clear showing of how both of their fighting skills have improved and become more versatile.
* Special mention to Sprig [[TookALevelInBadass taking a level in badass]] and defeating Grime in ''single combat'', using a combination of DeadlyDodging and [[EyeScream going for the toad's one good eye]], while the latter was wielding Barrel's Warhammer no less. It's also been previously mentioned that Grime used to be a gladiator, yet Sprig holds his own without much trouble. In the later fight against Andrias' army, Sprig also destroys one of the robots entirely on his own by jamming its weapons with mud.

* Sasha and Grimes battle against Yunnan, and at one point Sasha even breaks Yunnan's blades after some awesome dodging. Yunnan still beats them in direct combat, but they finally defeat her when Sasha tricks her into reciting her list of accomplishments yet again, while Grime sneaks up behind Yunnan and throws her off a cliff.
