He's planning to kill his wife and is a slimy git who just wants power and feels entitled to it. His disfiguring torture, rape and murder in Ruck's claws may have been horrific but was rather [[KarmicDeath karmic]] all the same.
** [[GeneralRipper General Bell]] is a bloodthirsty warmonger and bigot who used the innocent Inak in a plot to curry political favor with the nobles by framing them for Rilursa's assassination and then having them rounded up and sent to camps and/or slaughtered in the streets. He also had an entire town put to the sword to ensure none of those who'd seen the illegal WMD he was having smuggled through their town could spread the word while using the tragedy to paint the queen in a poor light.
