* DemotedToExtra: God Ginrai, the mechanical component of ''Masterforce'''s hero, and before that, the body of Optimus Prime, spends most of his time fighting Decepticons in other sectors (i.e. off-camera) and only appears to be destroyed and turned into what Transfans sarcastically label "a backpack and a pair of boots"- Star Saber's MidSeasonUpgrade.

Then again, having a character who looks cosmetically similar to Optimus would confuse a couple a fans despite having different personalities is understandable, since God Ginrai has a similar toy to Powermaster Optimus Prime (just without the armor upgrade).

to:

%% * TransformationSequence: Of course.Taken to absurd levels here, to the point that the anime acts like it was going out of style. Whenever Star Saber transforms on-screen, it takes at least 10 seconds to show his transformation from Brain of Courage, to Brainmaster, then combined mode. Greatshot himself has long transformation sequences, and is just as long. The previous series didn't even do this, since many of the transformations there were quick and simple.

Character reactions, plot happe and too implausible.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome:
** When Star Saber takes command of the Autobot forces protecting Earth, he decides to enroll Jan in school so he can be around humans his own age (up until that point, he'd grown up completely surrounded by the Autobots). This unfortunately means that the Decepticons occasionally attack the school to get at Star Saber through Jan.
*** The first time this happens, Star Saber tries to shield the school with his body and wait for Leozack to turn around. Unfortunately, his shielding attempt does nothing, as the school is wide enough that Star Saber cant shield the whole building.
** During Star Saber's meeting with the principal to finalise Jan's enrollment, the principal notes that she needs his signature on the paperwork. As Star Saber towers over the entire school, he promises to have his signature miniaturized and sent to her.
** As Hellbat (and Deathcobra) learn the hard way; if you shoot blindly at something, don't be surprised if you hit something (or someone) you really didn't mean to.
** Many of the Transformers weapons and technology are created to affect their own kin. Jan's mech that he gets later towards the end of the series is made of ordinary Earth metal, which renders it invulnerable to Transformer technology. This plays a crucial role in wrecking several Decepticon schemes and plays a vital role in the final battle.
** Deathsaurus knows about the long history of Earth and how so many Decepticon emperors failed to conquer it. Rather than try to conquer Earth, he decides to destroy the planet.
** Similarly, whenever Deathsaurus personally oversees an operation, unlike his underlings, the second it becomes obvious he has lost, he takes whatever energy he has and runs, preferring that a minor gain is better than a total loss.

** The Breastforce toys are armed with the gun forms of their Breast Animal partners, with their combined form Liokaiser getting a gun made up of Killbison's tank barrels and Jallguar's missiles. ''Transformers Victory'' is the Japanese-produced sequel series to ''{{Franchise/Transformers}} [[Anime/TransformersSuperGodMasterforce Super-God Masterforce]]'', taking the focus back to good old fashioned Autobots vs Deceptions. Star Saber, the new leader of the Autobots, is heading the charge against a new Decepticon warlord named Deathsaurus, who began stealing energy from the Earth to fuel and reactivate an old Decepticon space-fortress. This new Autobot commander is also the foster father of a human boy named Jan, who lost his parents to a Decepticon attack.

* AdaptationalWeaponSwap:
** Deathsaurus' toy is armed with a rifle with a nonfunctioning flail under the barrel, but the anime leaves out the rifle in favor of the flail and giving him a fiction-only sword. Even his later Living Metal Destroying Cannon is an entirely different design from the toy's gun. Tigerbreast's gun form is changed to a bow and arrow form, giving Deathsaurus an archery aspect the toy lacks.
** The Breastforce toys are armed with the gun forms of their Breast Animal partners, with their combined form Liokaiser getting a gun made up of Killbison's tank barrels and Jallguar's missiles. While they have these weapons in the anime, they primarily use fiction-only staffs that can change to [[FightingWithChucks sanjieguns]], and Liokaiser's staff can launch spiked rings. Liokaiser's first battle has him use his staff for the entirety of the fight and only pull out his gun to try to deal the killing blow.
** The Dinoforce toys come with guns for their weapons, but the anime portrays them with melee weapons instead. Kakuryu is unique among the team in that he is given [[LittleUselessGun a tiny pistol]] (which is still different from his toy's gun) along with his fictional axe.
