Upon first meeting, our hero Pero observes that the third and youngest son, Pierre, is bullied and enslaved by his older brothers Daniel and Raymond, who plan to keep their late father's fortune all to themselves instead of dividing it fairly between the three. Once exposed, they evict Pierre. From then on, Pero and Pierre decide to stick together, and Pero hatches a plan to marry Pierre to the [[LonelyAtTheTop lovely but lonely]] Princess Rosa, and defeat Lucifer, an all-powerful ogre sorcerer who plans [[AndNowYouMustMarryMe to force the princess to marry him in three days]]. All whilst fending off against [[TerribleTrio incompetent but persistent cat assassins]] along the way.

Added DiffLines:

* LoveInformant: When Pierre gets nervous upon getting an audience with Princess Rosa, Pero decides to say the words the former was supposed to say offscreen, to fool the princess into thinking Pierre is saying it. It would've probably worked had the Blunderers not butted in.

Added DiffLines:

* TheBigDamnKiss: Or, Big Damn ''Hug'', which Pierre and Rosa share after Lucifer has been ultimately defeated.

Added DiffLines:

* NotHisSled: The classic "Puss in Boots" resolution in which the ogre is immediately eaten after he [[TooDumbToLive shapeshifts into a mouse]] gets averted; thanks to the Three Blunderers, he manages to recover his shapeshifting charm in time and [[DarkestHour strikes back at our heroes]]. His ''actual'' defeat happens [[WeakenedByTheLight courtesy of the sun]].

Adding tropes

Added DiffLines:

* TheGoodTheBadAndTheEvil: Pierre, Pero and the mice are the good, trying to rescue Princess Rosa from Lucifer, the Assassin Cats are the bad, under strict orders to execute Pero and any mice they see under cat law or they will be executed instead, and Lucifer is the evil, affability towards Rosa aside, he is forcing her into marriage with him and threatens to destroy her entire kingdom if she refuses.

Added DiffLines:

* MeleeATrois: Pierre, Pero and the mice are mostly fighting Lucifer. The Assassin Cats act as a hindrance by trying to kill Pero and the mice when they can but the little Assassin Cat accidentally gets Lucifer's skull stuck on his head, leading the ogre to chase them for half the fight. Lucifer is trying to kill everyone in his way (sans Rosa).

* BaldOfEvil: Lucifer has standard male pattern baldness, lacking any hair on the top of his head. It's less noticeable when looking at him head-on due to his crown, but several shots later in the movie make it more apparent.

* BigBrotherBully: Daniel and Raymond have essentially turned their youngest brother into a slave, forcing him to do chores and cook gourmet dinners for them everyday while they do the easy work. They even make it a point to constantly put down Pierre, even when the latter does a good job, and also force him to eat gruel.

* FurryConfusion: Occurs when the ogre transforms into a regular cat in front of the [[FunnyAnimal two-legged, almost-fully-clothed Pero]]. The latter doesn’t seem to comment on it at all, aside from praising him for his shapeshifting skills.
