* MustHaveCaffine: HumanAliens: The Megalos are only really noted to be aliens in the opening text crawl. It can be surprisingly easy to forget that there are even any aliens in the OVA at all due to how much they resemble normal humans.
* MechaMooks: Several combat droids are seen operating under the command of the Megalos government and tend to serve as enemies during the action scenes.

In the far reaches of space lies the peaceful planet of Lazeria, a lush paradise shared by humans and a race of aliens known as the Megalos that fled to the new world after war broke out on their original home. Of course, you won't hear about any of that stuff too much outside of the opening info dump. Rather than some big space war ''The Humanoid'' is more of a slice of life title focusing on a small cast of characters living on Lazeria. While there are a few action scenes and a government conspiracy going on in the background most of the OVA is spent on character development and how the cast interacts with the titular Humanoid, a robotic gynoid named Antoinette invented by the brilliant Dr. Watson.
