* DarkerAndEdgier: Compared to the previous [[Anime/TropicalRougePrettyCure two]] [[Anime/DeliciousPartyPrettyCure seasons]], there are elements which are considerably darker. For instance, the first episode involves a [[MissingChild kidnapping of a baby]] (fortunately safe in the hands of the heroes, but still scary to know said baby is far from home), the leader of the Undurg Empire threatens any of her henchmen who fail too many times with death, and Battamonda's deeds are a lot more serious than many other henchmen.

* PlotHole: In episode 42, it's never explained how [[spoiler: Skearhead learned that the Cures are researching Kira Kira energy when he goes to confront them.]]

* IntraFranchiseCrossover: The Pretty Holic fashion brand returns in this series having a store in Sorashido City continuing from the previous [[Anime/TropicalRougePrettyCure two]] [[Anime/DeliciousPartyPrettyCure seasons]]. This time, the special variant is stationery, with the inactive henshin device doubling as a personalised pen.[[note]]As well as being ''sold as'' a pen.[[/note]]
