Batou, a man with the "eye that does not sleep," suspects that Kusanagi is the one behind the bombing. The Niihama Prefectural Police detective Togusa is pursuing his new Section 9 project.

I still don\'t think it can be called just \"blue\". I never saw straight blue even from the first moment I saw her new design. I saw purple slightly on the blue side, but still purple. I don\'t see any reason to remove the blue hair trope as it is written now though.

On Tuesday, January 15th, 2013, Kodansha's ''Monthly Young'' Magazine revealed that the ''Franchise/GhostInTheShell'' series would be adding another anime to it's roster.

All that can be said so far of this new anime series is that the executive director is Kazichiki Kase, who has been the Key Animator for the good majority of ProductionIG's works, including the original Ghost in The Shell movies and ''Anime/GhostInTheShellStandAloneComplex''. Tow Ubukata, of ''Anime/FafnerInTheAzureDeadAggressor'' and ''Literature/MardockScramble'' fame, is in charge of writing the scripts for the new series.

Nothing is known so far as to whether this is a new anime series or movie, or what the plot is about. All that can be said is that the character designs are taking a new approach to the old-school designs from the original MamoruOshii movies, as you can clearly see with Motoko in the page image.
