For starters, the other levels that Mario can explore include a real world looking city, a lush jungle/rainforest with machinery that seems to be abandoned, and a fruit salad world with a polygony-esque design. Mario can now toss his hat like a boomerang and bounce on it like a trampoline, and seems to have his own spaceship to help him travel the world. Bowser is planning on forcing Princess Peach to marry him, and seems to be teaming up with a bunch of new baddies, rather than the Koopalings, Bowser Jr., and/or Boom-Boom & Pom-Pom again. Oh, and the previously mentioned Mexico-esque level with "Day of the Dead" vibes also has a sphinx-like creature that Mario can ride. Yeah, "doubtful they'll try anything new" Mario's cap's newfound eyes!

How do you stop him? By ringing the Giga Bell to turn Mario into a giant glowing cat form!

* They may have been leaked months before hand and caused some stress from waiting for the announcement, but the confirmation that both a port of ''Super Mario 3D World'' and a compilation of ''Super Mario 64'', ''Super Mario Sunshine'', and ''Super Mario Galaxy'' would be coming to the Switch was still met with excitement.
