** Tony Stark in "What If Iron Man Crashed Into The Grandmaster?" rescues Sakaar from the reign of the Grandmaster and helping Gamora defeating Thanos with ease - solving plot points from both ''Film/ThorRagnarok'' and ''Film/AvengersInfinityWar" within an episode.
** "What If Hela Found The Ten Rings?" sees [[Film/ThorRagnarok Hela]] and [[Film/ShangChiAndTheTenRings Wenwu]] undergo a HeelFaceTurn and bring freedom into the whole universe, including once again defeating Thanos in process.

** [[Characters/RickAndMortyEvilMorty Evil Morty’s]] clearly smarter than any other Morty, both tactically and scientifically. He was smart and willful enough to break the toxic relationship with Rick by tricking him into a false sense of security than turning him into a [[AndIMustScream cyborg, under his control.]] Then he won the election at the citadel over the Rocks and then beat all the Ricks by destroying the citidel and escaping. To top it off, he comes back and defeats Rick Prime.

While most Ricks would never bother to invent anything that might help their fellow man because ItsAllAboutMe, Doofus Rick happily invents non-oven brownies for Jerry because he wanted to be nice, and, according to the comic, has cured cancer in his home universe.

* ''WesternAnimation/TheVentureBrothers'': After a villain with a portal in his stomach falls on top of him; Rusty Venture finds himself in an alternate dimension that has a richer, more successful, well-adjusted and less bald version of himself (offscreen). Apparently, our Rusty immediately [[KillAndReplace tried to kill his other self with a rock to take over his life]], but Alt!Rusty catches him and drags him back home to his own dimension. The whole thing is played as a gag.

** The most ridiculous example would have to be T'Challa as Star-Lord. Not only did he outshine his Sacred Timeline self and Peter as Star-Lord in every way possible, but he has also saved countless planets, including Drax's which means his family is still alive, and has become a well known and respected Robin Hood type hero throughout the galaxy by 2008. [[spoiler:He even convinced ''Thanos'' to do a HeelFaceTurn. Unfortunately this timeline also led to Ego easily tracking down Peter on Earth and absorbing him and presumably the rest of the galaxy]].

** The main series of Rick and Morty is essentially one big What If… series - Anyone, including the main cast, can die and be replaced any number of times without consequence, and this makes the Smith-Sanchez family essentially embody this trope:
** Rick C-137, the Rick followed throughout the series and who dubs himself “the Rickest Rick”, is this to all the other Ricks. He’s killed at least hundreds and probably THOUSANDS or more of other Ricks with no visible effort in his attempts to kill [[spoiler:the TRUE Rickest Rick, Rick Prime, [[RoaringRampageOfRevenge who murdered his original family]]. He’s invented interdimensional Portal travel, where it’s implied that most if not all other Ricks were given it by Rick Prime. He’s even the reason that the Citadel of Ricks was created in the first place. And on top of all that, he’s one of the few Ricks that loves his family, and also one of the few to have grown as a person from his narcicistic, nihilistic ways into the beginnings of a good father and grandfather]].
** Our Morty, Morty [[spoiler:Prime]], was described early on as the One True Morty. He’s SeenItAll and is unphased by a lot of things, disarming neutrino bombs on the regular and capable of both driving Rick’s car and operating his Portal gun, and even as early as episode 10 has far more of a spine than most Mortys, showing dismay at his other, cowering selves before leading them in rebellion. By the season 5 finale, he’s done the impossible and [[spoiler:helped Rick begin to grow as a person… as well as committed a few mass-murders, became a king at least twice, a leader a dozen more, played Rick himself more than a few times]], and more besides. All this compared to the average Morty, who’s childish, fearful and relatively innocent, and is treated as nothing more than a commodity.
** Even Beth, Jerry and Summer [[spoiler:C-131, 5126 and C-131 respectively]] seem to be this compared to their alternate selves. Jerry in particular has received some respect from Rick as of late, and has sometimes risen to the occasion to pull something actually pretty cool, while his alternate selves are openly mocked and berated by other Ricks. Beth and Summer meanwhile often take part in Rick and Morty’s adventures, while it’s implied their alternate versions are just seen as tools to make more Mortys. And together with Space Beth, Rick and Morty, they make a functional, asskicking family that sticks together out of mutual love and respect, which is a far sight from what we know about most other dimensions.
** Evil Morty is arguably even more awesome than Morty [[spoiler:Prime]], having risen to the top of the Citadel of Ricks as the first Morty president (and the first Morty seen in any real position of power), eliminated all his political enemies in one fell swoop, [[spoiler:gotten the best of every Rick including Rick C-137 by hacking their Portal fluid, and left the entire Citadel, again including our Rick and Morty, to die as he escaped to the universes where Rick isn’t the dominant lifeform]].

** Even Beth, Jerry and Summer [[C-131, 5126 and C-131 respectively]] seem to be this compared to their alternate selves. Jerry in particular has received some respect from Rick as of late, and has sometimes risen to the occasion to pull something actually pretty cool, while his alternate selves are openly mocked and berated by other Ricks.
