* In ''Into the Spider-Verse'', Doctor Octopus starts quirky and approachable, and ''continues'' to geek out over every (however, now, turbulent) reappearance of the Web-Head. There's just that scene in the middle where the scientist accelerates from tying him up for a saliva sample to looking forward to seeing the interdimensional instability ''take Spidey apart'' to, as the picture becomes clear, the tentacles coming out.

* ''WesternAnimation/ThePrinceOfEgypt'': Rameses is quite a bit more sympathetic than other portrayals of the Biblical Pharaoh. He is a good loving father and genuinely loves his adoptive brother Moses. However he is far too obsessed with [[WellDoneSon appeasing the wishes of his father]] that blinds him to the suffering of the Hebrews. His fatal flaws are his pride and stubbornness, which lead to all of Egypt's suffering.

* Kronk in ''Disney/TheEmperorsNewGroove'' is a charismatic GentleGiant and only "evil" by virtue of [[PunchClockVillain being Yzma's henchman]].
* ''Disney/{{Frozen}}'': [[spoiler: Duke Weselton is this. He will kill to have his way (to secure trade advantages) but shows care and concern for his soldiers as well as the people of Arendelle.]]

* ''Disney/TheJungleBook'': King Louie has a friendly appearance, is jolly, likes to party, has a cool taste in music - and kidnaps Mowgli because he wants the boy to give him the secret of fire, which is like the ultimate weapon for the jungle animals.

* ''Disney/LiloAndStitch'': [[MadScientist Jumba Jookiba]] may constantly boast over his status as an evil genius, and he may have created over 600 artificial life-forms which range from mischievous to downright destructive, but he's a pretty decent and sociable guy overall. He even gets a HeelFaceTurn near the end of the movie.

* ''Disney/PeterPan'': Mr. Smee is this, being a very cheerful and friendly fellow. He's only considered a villain because he serves Hook.
* ''Disney/RobinHood'': [[EvilGenius Sir Hiss]] may be a snake both [[SmugSnake figuratively]] and [[SnakesAreSinister literally]], but he's considerably more pleasant than either [[RoyalBrat Prince John]] or [[CardCarryingVillain the Sheriff of Nottingham]].

* The 2017 Animation "Sahara" gives us [[spoiler: the glowworms. They may turn out to be flesh-eating creatures who will trap whatever unlucky creature wanders into their lair in silk saliva, but they're nothing if not amiable. They gave Ajar and his friends directions to find the humans who took Eva, invited them to stay for a feast, then sang them a cheerful song (about eating their visitors). [[MoodWhiplash And then they proceeded to try and eat our heroes]], but even then, the glowworms remain all giggly and cute and cheery.]]

Thought she's more a mix of this and FauxAffablyEvil, sometimes her true nature slips out to show just how crazy she really is before she pulls herself together.

* Captain Kiddie from TomAndJerryTheMovie was a genuinely NiceGuy who treated Robyn very well and came across as a fun loving guy... until he found out about the million dollar reward for her return.

* Yzma in ''Disney/TheEmperorsNewGroove'' is generally too crazy to bother, but she has her moments. Especially when a group of her royal guards gets transformed into various animals and one of them asks her if he can go home, she politely lets him leave without a second thought and asks the other guards if they'd like to leave as well.

* ''WesternAnimation/{{Coco}}'': [[spoiler: Ernesto de la Cruz is impeccably friendly and affable. He was more than happy to help Miguel return to the Land of the Living without anything in return. Too bad he has murdered anyone in the way of his fame and career.]]
