* Creator/NickAtNite was every bit as bad with ''Series/TheGeorgeLopezShow'', probably worse. First, they would run marathons of the show for every occasion imaginable using any excuse they could get, no matter how shoddy. Then they did away with the excuses, and began showing marathons of ''George Lopez'' without even giving an excuse to do so. On multiple occasions, they aired '''over 40 hours''' of it in one week, setting up a bizarre situation -- his self-titled TalkShow on Creator/{{TBS}} often competed with his own old sitcom.
** It got so ridiculous that Nick at Nite decided to celebrate ''Saint Patrick's Day'' (which in America at least is viewed as basically being a day to celebrate Irish heritage) with "Luck of the Lopez" week.
** During the 2000's, the entire Nick at Nite lineup was revamped multiple times and ''Series/TheFreshPrinceOfBelAir'', ''Series/TheNanny'', ''Series/MalcolmInTheMiddle'', and ''Series/FamilyMatters'' have all come and gone....but ''George Lopez'' '''remained untouched in the lineup''' after all this time.

* Wrestling/JohnCena has been host of the Kids Choice Awards for 2 years in a row (2017 and 2018), had his own game show (''Keep It Spotless''), and hosts Nickelodeon's version of ''Series/AreYouSmarterThanAFifthGrader'', among other promotions.

** However, this case was because most of [=NickMom=]'s starting shows were either ruthlessly panned by Nick Jr. viewers[[note]]let's put it this way: the regular Nick Jr. network's target audience would be in bed by the time [=NickMom=] came around, but Nick Jr. didn't have [[UsefulNotes/ANSIStandardBroadcastTVSchedule east coast/west coast feeds]] until quietly adding a Pacific feed in February 2013, so what airs at 10pm in the east starts at 7pm on the West Coast and 4pm in Hawaii... and viewers from the West and Hawaii expecting kid-friendly stuff like Dora were shocked to instead find such gems as women doing stand-up comedy routines about how painful their vaginae were after birthing, or ''Series/TheBradyBunch'' reruns with [[PopUpTrivia snarky pop-up comments]] from Carol[[/note]] or plain ignored, so going into the archives for reruns of mom-centric shows was the best way to salvage the lineup. By March 2015 not even ''that'' was working, and during that month the ''Film/{{Babe}}'' films seemed to be on a loop during the [=NickMom=] timeslot, along with ''Series/That70sShow'' reruns. Thankfully someone then realized ''{{Series/Parenthood}}'' reruns were ready to be sold, and by the next month that show would be fruitfully airing on [=NickMom=].

** On Saturdays in March of 2021, the show aired for 7 hours in a row just to promote the sneak peak of the movie being shown at the [[UsefulNotes/KidsChoiceAward Kids' Choice Awards]] that month.

* Given that the source material is ''extremely'' popular with young children, ''Animation/BabySharksBigShow'' got this treatment. It debuted with a holiday special, the title character made an appearance during [[UsefulNotes/KidsChoiceAward the 2021 Kids' Choice Awards]], received a merchandise line, and got renewed for a second season and a feature-length movie mere months after its debut.

* Young Dylan is already heading this way for Nick. Since 2020, he has a TV show created by Tyler Perry, occasionally shows up as a panelist on Unfiltered, appears on NFL Slimetime with Nate Burleson (a weekly show reccaping football), and even had a guest appearance on fellow black sitcom That Girl Lay Lay. He replaced Lex Lumpkin for the sideline reporter for the 2022 Nickelodeon Wild Card Game as well as the Slime Cup.
* Out of all the cast members to come out of the 2019 All That revival, Gabrielle Nevaeh Green is already their favorite. She's one of the panelists for Unfiltered, and her exposure started to grow when it was announced she would be an announcer for Nick's sports events. Not to mention, she's one of the main cast members for ''Series/ThatGirlLayLay'', which became a hit when it came to Netflix.

* From 2015 to 2016, if the day was a holiday (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving, etc.) or a [[NoHoperRepeat special event on a different network]] such as the Super Bowl or an awards show (i.e. Grammies, Emmies, Oscars), there was a high chance that ''WesternAnimation/{{Rugrats}} in Paris: The Movie'' would be on that night. The movie also played every other week during that time period.

* By Labor Day of 2013, the crown would be overtaken by ''WesternAnimation/PAWPatrol'', which would run 4 episodes a day, and Dora was reduced to one airing a day. This is likely due to both the rise of streaming, and kid's focus shifting towards ''Disney Junior'' shows like ''WesternAnimation/SofiaTheFirst'' and ''WesternAnimation/DocMcStuffins''. The failure of the ''[[WesternAnimation/DorasExplorerGirls Dora & Friends]]'' spinoff didn't help much either.

** Noggin's nighttime programming block for teens, The N, first picked up ''One on One'' reruns in early 2006. They began running the show ad nauseam, with the occasional ''Series/{{Degrassi}}'' re-run in the prime time slots and new episodes would air infrequently of their other shows. A year later in spring 2007, The N's line-up was two episodes of ''Series/TheFreshPrinceOfBelAir'', then two episodes of ''One on One'', then two episodes of ''The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'', then two episodes of ''One on One''. ''Degrassi'' completely disappeared from the schedule, save for re-runs at 3AM on the weekends.

Chances are if Nick is airing a movie and they aren't airing ''Sponge Out Of Water'', it will be at least one of the two. Sometimes, they'll even air both of them back to back. Both movies are often used as a lead-in for premieres (such as The Astronauts premiere, Slime Cup), usually boosting their ratings.

** In recent months, TeenNick has slowly turned into the superhero network with half of its schedule consisting of the [=DangerVerse=] (Henry Danger and its spinoff Danger Force) and The Thundermans. It gets to the point where its weekend lineup is nothing but the aforementioned shows. Their adoration of Henry Danger has been taken to another level where if the [=DangerVerse=] does something important (such as HD's series finale, Henry returning to Swellview in DF, season finale/premiere), they make excuses to air every single episode of the show, no matter what.

''WesternAnimation/BluesClues'' would run the same episode on the Nick Jr. block from Monday through Friday before switching to the next one in order for the educational themes of the episode to stick in the viewer's minds. In addition, from 1996 to the early 2000's the Nick Jr. screen bug wasn't present during broadcasts. When it first premiered, WesternAnimation/DoraTheExplorer also the same episode from Monday through Friday.

* A strange example of this trope happened from 1996 until 2000. ''WesternAnimation/BluesClues'' would run the same episode on the Nick Jr. block from Monday through Friday before switching to the next one in order for the educational themes of the episode to stick in the viewer's minds. In addition, from 1996 to the early 2000's the Nick Jr. screen bug wasn't present during broadcasts.

** Before that, they used to love playing anything by [[WesternAnimation/ThomasAndFriends Britt]] [[WesternAnimation/MagicAdventuresOfMumfie Allcroft]]. Thomas used to air at least four times a day, and sometimes competes with its own airings on Creator/ChannelFive's Milkshake! block.

** During Easter break of 2023, [=TeenNick=]'s schedule was comprised of nothing but ''Henry Danger''. Some people thought this was a week-long programming stunt, until the next few weeks used the exact same programming schedule, resulting in the schedule being comprised of 98% ''Henry Danger'' reruns.

** As of April 2023, [=TeenNick=] is the ''Henry Danger'' Network in all but name. Quite literally 99% of its "schedule" is ''Henry Danger'' and its spinoff ''Danger Force''. ''Series/ErinAndAaron'' is currently the only other show it airs, and even then, the two aforementioned shows air way more. ** They also gave this treatment to the movie's sequel. ''The [=SpongeBob=] Movie: Sponge Out Of Water''. Whenever [=SpongeBob=] gets the day off for marathons of ''The Loud House'', they will show it to make up for the loss of [=SpongeBob=] that day.

* As of March 2015, since they got the rights to air ''WesternAnimation/{{Madagascar}}: Escape 2 Africa'', Nick's been playing it as much as possible. It sort of makes sense, considering they air ''WesternAnimation/ThePenguinsOfMadagascar'' on the channel.

* As of 2019, Nick loves to play ''WesternAnimation/IceAge'' movies (specifically ''[[WesternAnimation/IceAgeTheMeltdown The Meltdown]]'', ''[[WesternAnimation/IceAgeDawnOfTheDinosaurs Dawn of the Dinosaurs]]'' and ''[[WesternAnimation/IceAgeContinentalDrift Ice Age: Continental Drift]]'') just as much as the ''[=SpongeBob=]'' movies. ''[[Film/TheToothFairy The Tooth Fairy]]'' is also given this treatment as well.

* Before ''WesternAnimation/BluesClues'' premiered, in addition to its regular timeslot, if there was any hole in the Nick Jr. schedule, it would be filled by british cartoon ''WesternAnimation/{{Rupert}}.''

* ''[=NickSplat=]'' seems to have an odd love for ''[[WesternAnimation/TheWildThornberrys The Wild Thornberrys Movie]]'', airing it more often than any other Nick movie and repeatedly throughout the months of June and July 2017.
