10	* Back in the mid-to-late 90's, ''WesternAnimation/GarfieldAndFriends'' was adored more than any other syndicated show, airing twice a day and getting promoted often. It basically went 3 episodes of ''[=SpongeBob=]'', 3 episodes of ''Alvin''. Once ''WesternAnimation/TheLoudHouse'' came in the picture, reruns were cut down significantly. Nowadays, reruns only air on Nicktoons.

They aired a marathon of the show on the week it premiered (a half-term week, when kids have a week-long break from school), and it proved to be a huge success: it's become the highest-rated show on the channel for every week since its premiere in favour of displacing ''the actual Nicktoons'', and its success has made it the flagship show on two UK channels, the other being its home channel, Creator/{{CITV}}. It helps that ''Horrid Henry'' is one of the most popular kids' shows in the UK, and the change was probably made to fit European broadcasting rules.

''Degrassi'' completely disappeared from the schedule, save for re-runs at 3AM on the weekends.

45	** In recent months, [=TeenNick=] has slowly turned into the superhero network with half of its schedule consisting of the [=DangerVerse=] (Henry Danger and its spinoff Danger Force) and The Thundermans. It gets to the point where its weekend lineup is nothing but the aforementioned shows. Their adoration of Henry Danger has been taken to another level where if the [=DangerVerse=] does something important (such as HD's series finale, Henry returning to Swellview in DF, season finale/premiere), they make excuses to air every single episode of the show, no matter what.
46	** By April 2023, [=TeenNick=] is the ''Henry Danger'' Network in all but name. Quite literally 99% of its "schedule" is ''Henry Danger'' and its spinoff ''Danger Force''. ''Series/ErinAndAaron'' and to a lesser extent ''Series/TheReallyLoudHouse'' were the only two shows that aired in between, and even then, the two aforementioned shows air way more. Granted, the channel has been over-airing ''Henry Danger'' for a while now, but this is the worst it’s ever been. It almost makes MTV's over-airing of ''Ridiculousness'' look '''tame''' by comparison. Once the week of July 10, 2023 came into play, the channel was JUST running this and its spin-off. Nowadays it's gotten to the point where they'll play the ''[=SpongeBob=]'' movie just to fill space that they can't fill with more ''[=SpongeBob=]''. No real rhyme or reason, you'll just tune in one day and there it'll be.
60	** Around late 2015 however, they suddenly stopped airing the movie on random weeknights. This is most likely due to having it on Netflix around that time. Fast forward to November 2016, when the movie was taken off the service, and they're basically doing the same thing they always do with it.
61	** They also gave this treatment to the movie's sequel. ''WesternAnimation/TheSpongeBobMovieSpongeOutOfWater''. Whenever [=SpongeBob=] gets the day off for marathons of ''The Loud House'', they will show it to make up for the loss of [=SpongeBob=] that day.

70	* Ever since their debut on the network in fall 2020, Nick seems to have taken a page out of Disney Channel's book by airing ''WesternAnimation/DespicableMe1'' and ''WesternAnimation/DespicableMe2'' whenever they get the chance. Chances are if Nick is airing a movie and they aren't airing ''Sponge Out Of Water'', it will be at least one of the two. Sometimes, they'll even air both of them back to back. Both movies are often used as a lead-in for premieres (such as The Astronauts premiere, Slime Cup), usually boosting their ratings.
71	** A similar pattern has occurred with the first two ''WesternAnimation/HotelTransylvania'' installments. On President's Day of 2022, they wound up airing twice in the span of 14 hours.

First, they would run marathons of the show for every occasion imaginable using any excuse they could get, no matter how shoddy. Then they did away with the excuses, and began showing marathons of ''George Lopez'' without even giving an excuse to do so. On multiple occasions, they aired '''over 40 hours''' of it in one week, setting up a bizarre situation -- his self-titled TalkShow on Creator/{{TBS}} often competed with his own old sitcom.
80	** It got so ridiculous that Nick at Nite decided to celebrate ''Saint Patrick's Day'' (which in America at least is viewed as basically being a day to celebrate Irish heritage) with "Luck of the Lopez" week.
81	** During the 2000's, the entire Nick at Nite lineup was revamped multiple times and ''Series/TheFreshPrinceOfBelAir'', ''Series/TheNanny'', ''Series/MalcolmInTheMiddle'', and ''Series/FamilyMatters'' have all come and gone....but ''George Lopez'' '''remained untouched in the lineup''' after all this time.
82	** Until Viacom began their 'six prime networks' strategy and turned it into a glorified Spanish music video server, Tr3s also overplayed ''Lopez''.
83	* In 2011, ''Series/{{Friends}}'' got a lot of overexposure when it was added to the Nick At Nite line-up. That year's schedule was normally an hour of ''Series/FullHouse'', an hour of ''Series/TheNanny'', then about 2 hours of ''Friends'', leaving ''Series/TheGeorgeLopezShow'' to air at 1:00AM.
84	** ''Friends'' has since become the mainstay of the Nick & Nite schedule. As of 2024, the Nick & Nite schedule is five hours of ''Friends'', followed by about 2 hours of ''Series/{{Mom}}'' and 2 hours of ''Series/MikeAndMolly''.
85	* ''The Nanny'' was also adored by Nick At Nite in 2010. Nick At Nite would play marathons of the show on major holidays, and aired three hours of it a day.

It was also an "introductory" staple for a while, where it would be the first show after the regular Nick schedule ends, possibly to attract a younger crowd.

By March 2015 not even ''that'' was working, and during that month the ''Film/{{Babe}}'' films seemed to be on a loop during the [=NickMom=] timeslot, along with ''Series/That70sShow'' reruns. Thankfully someone then realized ''{{Series/Parenthood}}'' reruns were ready to be sold, and by the next month that show would be fruitfully airing on [=NickMom=].
92	** In the summer of 2015, they'd take every chance they could to air ''Film/AboutLastNight''.

96	* Before 2013, ''WesternAnimation/DoraTheExplorer'' used to be the most adored preschool show on Nickelodeon, airing at least four times during the morning hours. Any special episodes of Dora were shown on normal Nickelodeon hours (or tail end of Nick Jr. hours) on the main channel. The specials even showed up on Nick's syndicated programming blocks that used to air on CBS in the early 2000s. It helped that it spent several years as Nick's most popular franchise that wasn't named ''[=SpongeBob=]''. Not to mention it spent over a decade as the number one highest rated preschool television show, beating out staples like ''Series/SesameStreet'' and fellow Nick Jr. series like ''WesternAnimation/BluesClues''.
97	** The 2024 reboot of the show seems to be headed this way even before it began airing. Many episodes were uploaded as sneak peeks on [=YouTube=], a short based on the reboot played before ''WesternAnimation/PAWPatrolTheMightyMovie'', the new Dora has been included in promotions with other Nick Jr. shows, and Dora was one of the hosts of Nickelodeon's broadcast of the 2024 Super Bowl.
98	* By Labor Day of 2013, the crown would be overtaken by ''WesternAnimation/PAWPatrol'', which would run 4 episodes a day, and Dora was reduced to one airing a day. This is likely due to both the rise of streaming, and kid's focus shifting towards ''Disney Junior'' shows like ''WesternAnimation/DocMcStuffins'', and especially ''WesternAnimation/SofiaTheFirst''. The failure of the ''[[WesternAnimation/DorasExplorerGirls Dora & Friends]]'' spinoff didn't help much either.
99	** As of 2017, you can expect to see ''PAW Patrol'' on the Nick Jr block at least 6 times a day, whereas Dora reruns are gone entirely. On holidays that usually result in a day off of school, as well as on Fridays when there's no new episodes of other shows, expect to see at least 15 episodes that day. There have even been marathons on days when didn't have off of school as well. For example, on January 15, 2017, which was the day ''WesternAnimation/MickeyAndTheRoadsterRacers'' premiered on Disney Channel, the whole Nick Jr. block that day was comprised of ''PAW Patrol'' re-runs. Like what used to happen with [=SpongeBob=], Nick Jr. will play all-day marathons of the show whenever a new ''PAW Patrol'' episode is about to premiere. They also do this for highly-anticipated episodes of other shows (like the ''WesternAnimation/ThomasAndFriends'' special ''Big World! Big Adventures!'').

In addition, the Thanksgiving week 2019 schedule for the Nick Jr. block (which was two weeks after it premiered) was nothing but ''PAW Patrol'' and ''Blue's Clues and You!''.
