Amelia- What would you call the trope used used for the end-of-gamefuck up, where you can get yourself blown up for opening pandora's box? I know there's a trope for that somewhere, but putting it on the page would totally ruin the surprise. And besides, this is different, it's the players own damn fault. And in my opinion it should render the game totally unwinnable. That's not sadistic, it's funny. ;D
i30817: The game vampire pc being far more powerful than equivalent generation npcs was conflated in my mind with your supposed progenitor at the game beginning being really lame. I think he is not really your progenitor. You might a Methuselah childer. The game might lampshade this tenuous possibility when you fight Andrei. He says "The blood ... you are not worthy". Heck you can kill Augustus Giovanni, a supposed 3 generation by the rules. Plus Vampire the Masquerade is all about manipulation. I'd like a Apocalypse sequel...
