Willy Four Eyes: Okay, maybe not an exact subversion, but he's a lot less of a pain to fight than Duke was (his Super bar doesn't stay at maximum throughout the whole battle). I removed the line and changed it with something a little more accurate.

Also, from what I've seen, all of the games' titles do include the word "The"...that's why I added that to the title of this entry. The only ones that don't are the Max Impact games.

Man Called True: Three things:

  1. The tournament is "The King of Fighters". The series itself is just "King of Fighters" - I've never seen "The" on the covers.
  2. Someone who's played the series since '94 assures me Duke is nothing compared to Igniz.
  3. Having fought him repeatedly, I must ask: how is Jivatma a subversion of the SNK Boss?

Tanto: I've already set up a redirect at King Of Fighters — I'm pretty sure that all the inbound links go there. If it matters, I guess we could switch them.

Dark Soldier: MCT, the title screen of each game says "The King of Fighters."

endlessnostalgia: Removed Orochi Shermie from the Playing with Fire entry, since her energy attacks are electricity-based. I'm tempted to remove the 20 Minutes into the Future entry, as it belongs to the Fatal Fury continuity, and Mark of the Wolves seems to be set in 2006, not 2008. Also, when does Vanessa ever removes part of her clothing? I have not seen that and I find it strange.

  • Soulcleaver sez: Vanessa throws away a coat in some of her intros.
    • Only now I see I poorly formaulated my question. I know it's suppossed to happen in an intro, but in which game? Against which character? I've played most games where she appears (except for KOF Neo Wave), and never saw her do that.

Satanic Hamster: I've noticed there's no character page. I know that's going to be a chore to set that one up.

Cidolfas: Does there really need to be a metric ton of a wall of text on this page describing the full story of every game? My eyes glazed after two paragraphs.

  • Yes.
