Charles Phipps: Added a page for Devil May cry the animated series.

Fast Eddie: Hotlinked ... img404.imageshack.us/img404/3998/dmcspardasonsec9.png .. disappeared, which is one of the reasons we don't like hotlinked images.

Kimiko Muffin: So, which manual says that Dante uses demonic power to give himself Bottomless Magazines? The one for DMC2? I have both 1 and 3 (and the comment has been around since before 4 was released), and neither of them mention anything like that.

  • Dalantia: Might actually be referenced in one of the novels. I remember that being where Dante got Ebony and Ivory, and that they were linked to him in some fashion that meant he would never need to reload.

Mary: I pulled "fitting the anime into the chronology of the games is tricky since it features Trish (introduced in the original DMC) but Dante's shop is still called 'Devil May Cry' (he renamed it to 'Devil Never Cry' in the end of the first game)."

Dante's shop is named "Devil May Cry" in Devil May Cry 4, which is set after DMC1 and the anime. So Dante must have simply changed the name of the shop back to "Devil May Cry" after DMC1; probably because Trish temporarily left to go demon hunting solo, and he had changed the name of the shop to "Devil Never Cry" in the first place when they became partners.

Reflextion: "Porting Disaster (For 3 and 4 from console to PC)" Uh, what? PC!3 was pretty atrocious, granted, but PC!4? Explain the logic behind that conclusion, pray?

  • The PC version of Devil May Cry 4 works great when using a gamepad. The standard keyboard controls, however, are atrocious, using a random set of keys in the center of the keyboard, so that could be what that means. Otherwise it was a very well done port.
