Describe Australian Politics Discussion here.

Randallw: Apparently an aspect of Australian politics is to present facts in such a manner as to make the opinions of one side seemingly the obvious truth and the others side erroneous. Try correcting it and they'll come along and remove dissent. Both sides do it it seems. It's probably practice no matter what political system it is.

Grimace: I never, ever, ever thought I'd see myself saying this but...*deep breath*...I think John Howard's entry is too negative, and should be made more neutral if at all possible.

GAAHH! I feel unclean.

  • EDIT MADE 20 SECONDS LATER* : Wait! Turns out both the recent guys are given a nice, negative shine. I really should have finished scrolling, shouldn't I? Nothing to see here...

Eyclonus: We've done a better job then The Other Wiki at being neutral-ish, realistic and informative. I think however that Gough Whitlam's "Governor General" speech on his removal from office deserves special mention as it is what most people first think of when you mention his name and it is one of the more blatant cases of a politician flipping off Australian politics.
