Morkais Chosen: Not having the game I can't be sure, but the Hunt Club, a bunch of bored people who fight things for the kicks, sounds... familiar.
Crowbar: Naw, it's more like the golf players at the local country club (swapping golf for horrific murder, of course) than it is a bunch of guys getting in touch with their primal natures. But thanks for the idea for a slasher compact.
