Robin Zimm: Is it just me, or should this page be restricted to where it's Women Drivers that is the trope, not merely females who Drive Like Crazy? The key element is that the driver is bad because she's a woman.
...in fact, I'm pulling a lot of the examples. Text is below for anyone who wants to (a) revive with justification or (b) move to Drives Like Crazy.

- Played with in a commercial for a poker web site. A woman pulls into her driveway with a dented fender. Her husband walks up and asks what happened. "Meteor. Misses Mars, misses the Moon, hits my car!" She then walks into the house as the husband stares at the damage. The commercial tagline? "Good at bluffing...?"
Anime and Manga
Film
- The "interesting" driving skills of Fox, played by Angelina Jolie, in the new film Wanted. When this comes out on DVD, we should start a drinking game, "Count The Car Wrecks".
- Does it really count if everything's done on purpose, and is awesome?
Literature
- In the Thursday Next series, Ms. Havisham (Yes, that Ms. Havisham ) is the virtual embodiment of this trope when she gets behind a wheel. Not in the "ignorant of common sense" way, but "recklessly suicidal" way. She's actually a very skilled driver (you'd have to be to pull off the Crazy Awesome stunts she attempts) and even secretly races automobiles in the Outlands, which ends up causing her death when her car is sabotauged and crashes.
