Morgan Wick: I don't think Babs in Batman Beyond is an example of the trope - rather the opposite.
Daibhid C: She does help Terry and Bruce on occasion, she just seriously resents doing so. It's Masterharper Robinton that's got me confused, since he doesn't seem to have any connection to the trope at all. (F'lar is the local authority figure; Robinton is something like a respected university dean, who's also a government advisor).
