Kilyle: Yay! A page for this trope! I love this page! I hate this trope! Grrrrr... Dad and I pick up on this so, so very often, and it's irritating as all everything that Hollywood's version of "let's insert conflict" is "let's set the main team at each other's throats". I think, in all serious, that the aversion of this trope was the key to the widespread success of Star Trek: The team actually cared about each other and tried to protect each other. ...Well, minus the Red Shirts, but who cares about them?
