Ununnilium: What about situations where, for instance, the movie Macross: Do You Remember Love is a movie made by the "normal people" in the Super Dimension Fortress Macross universe about the events of the series? (At least, that's what I've heard.)
- In the universe of Fringe, Star Trek is referenced occasionally. In fact, one delusional character believes that he is a reincarnation of Spock. However, nobody in-universe seems to comment on the fact that ultra-rich industrialist William Bell is played by Leonard Nimoy.

Fire Walk: Without going into too much detail, would the episode of Supernatural count, where a writer turns out to be a prophet who unwittingly writes the characters plotlines as a series of novels?

- Weird example: Nick makes a reference to Half Life when picking up a crowbar. Odd when you consider that the events of Half-Life are canon to Left 4 Dead 2's alternate universe.
