SenatorJ: Isn't Noob Saibot just a name spelled backwards? Mortal Kombat predates this use of "noob."
dkellis: Two names, yes: Ed Boon and John Tobias, the co-creators of the franchise. I'm not sure about predating, and I don't know enough about MK to tell if the name turned out to be a fortuitous coincidence, so I'll leave it to someone who does know.
