Viv: I don't get why this is only about Nazis. Suggest expanding, authoritarian regimes have always shown affinity for certain types of music, most notably military dictators.
Studiode Kadent: Very true, but we all know who the Trope Codifier for authoritarian military dictators is. Also, the trope is about music that gets accused of being Nazi on the basis of how it sounds ("Germanic", "Wagnerian", "Teutonic" etc). Most cultural references in the media to authoritarian military dictators involves a comparison to Nazi Germany.
