Ununnilium: Would Babylon 5 count? What about The Prisoner?

Looney Toons: I was certainly debating B5 with myself while making my changes yesterday, and I'm inclined to think yes. The Prisoner — well, I suppose if Twin Peaks makes it in then The Prisoner should, since unlike TP it actually tried to show a solution to the puzzle, as incomprehensible as it was... (Later) Added them.

Susan Davis: Babylon 5 was one of the original examples I was thinking of when I created this, actually; I just forgot to include it.

Susan Davis: Twin Peaks did not create the trope — The Prisoner was decades earlier, and I suppose that literary examples could be found to make this one of The Oldest Ones in the Book.

Looney Toons: Acknowledged. However, it was not necessary to remove the (true) commentary about Twin Peaks' ultimate creative coherence.

jubuttib: Does The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya count? Certainly not if you watch the episodes chronologically, but the original airing order was highly out of order.

Thatother 1 Dude: Removed
"I'm going to recount as much of the story as I can before my brain starts to hurt... OH CHRIST, I can't go on! This shit is bananas!"

He wasn't talking about the plot being complicated, he was talking about the game being really really weird.
