Edited out most of the not-funny descriptions. A bit of sarcasm is alright, but this is a wiki, not a blog.

Fai-Mommy: I removed this from the Rape as Comedy section:

  • Notably, Nny raping a guy with large metal hooks because the guy had previously raped women. It coincides with somewhat lengthy Author Filibuster.

One, it would be a huge stretch to construe that scene as something that was supposed to be funny (Even considering the type of comedy Jhonen specializes in, it's clearly a pretty serious scene. The hook part, I mean, not Jimmy being annoying). And two, that was most likely not rape. Johnny says "Oh look! An orifice. How do you like being fucked with steel!?" and during this all we see is a silhouette of Johnny tearing up the guy's chest with the hooks. The "fuck"ing was metaphorical and the orifice he was talking about was no doubt Jimmy's chest cavity, which he just ripped open and was digging around in. Most notably, when it goes out of silhouette mode, Jimmy's pants have not been damaged or removed—his belt is even still perfectly in place. AND, to sodomize someone with a sharp metal hook would probably cause some bleeding from the area of penetration—Jimmy is shown lying in a pool of blood, but it's clear that none of it is coming from his butt. So I don't see how it could have been rape.

Laota: I took out the snarky little budding flame-war under Author Tract. Truth be told, we can only guess at whether Jhonen does or doesn't agree with his characters. The cited examples of the assumption that he does were Johnny and Devi. Two characters who, despite being goths and outsiders who hate stupid/cruel/thoughtless creeps, are completely different people.

Tyoria: In that case I would think it would be better to simply take out the Author Tract listing entirely. If there's no clear endorsement of the position taken, it's a Character Filibuster, not an Author Tract. (Also, while Nny might be more intelligent or observant than many, he's NOT sane. Half the time, he'll openly acknowledge this.)
