Freezer: I hadn't even noticed I left Wesley Snipes name out. 40 lashes with a wet noodle for me.
Bonsai Forest: We're starting to get what might be inappropriate examples. A hammy actor in a cartoon series? The cartoon was popular in its time anyway. Cartoons are filled with hammy actors, so if one example of a generic hammy actor is added, why not add them all, and derail this trope? Therefore, only examples of shows/movies that are clearly BAD but contain an actor who made the best of it should really be added, as per the trope description.
Alagarazu: I agree with Bonsai, in the Christopher Walkeen session, he KNEW what the video was about and liked doing "Weapon of choice" so much that he said that he didn't needed payment, also, the music video isn't lame or cheesy.
Freezer: The now-cut example for Robert Pattinson's portrayal of Edward Cullen in the Twilight movie is more appropriate for Writer Revolt. Reposting there.
Polymphus: It seems I've started quite a trend for culling stuff from this page, but honestly it really needs it; it seems to attract natter like no other.
Kalaong: I keep trying to put Frank Miller's stuff here. As well as anything with Bruce Campbell in it. Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow, too. And of course, Flash Gordon(He's a miracle!) DELETE DELETE DELETE... I guess it doesn't fit this trope precisely, but what exactly do you call it when EVERYBODY, including the director, deliberately chooses to ham it up? Other than awesome?
- Earnest: An all you can eat buffet. ^_^
- Kalaong: That was just the movies. In Anime, I would include One Piece, FLCL, and obviously Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Comic Books? One Word: Nextwave. Video Games? Brutal Legend. Rene Descartes declared that the conquest of the physical world is achieved through measure and number? Well, SCREW THAT. Screw plot. Screw reason. Screw sanity. Bruce Campbell's hand offended him, so he lopped it off at the wrist with a chainsaw, declared the Chainsaw Good, and grafted it to the stump. Ta-kun deflects a Colony Drop by swinging an electric guitar. Warren Ellis will kick you for dissing him and you shall explode. Jack Black kills a fifty-foot leech with a hot rod and offers lessons on "french kissing". I am speaking of worlds where the Rule of Cool is the ONLY rule and Hot Bloodedness can change water into wine, thus ensuring that Ham is Law. You Know the One...
- Mac Phisto: I wouldn't say Angelina Jolie in Sky Captain counts. Her status as a One-Scene Wonder was spoiled by every single trailer, and when she does get her five minutes of screen time, she acts the exact same way she was in almost every other movie she's ever done: bordering on Dull Surprise.
Polymphus: Look, can we just decide on an M. Bison quote instead of having a pissy little edit war about it?
