gumby_jd: I changed the "Loser Leaves Town" part because it isn't really extinct (Christopher Daniels in TNA losing to Senshi and being 'fired' - only to come back a couple of weeks later as a masked wrestler named 'Curry Man'). It's just a type of "I Quit" match, after all, and is fairly common.

gwalla: Putting this here because I'm not sure if it really merits inclusion:

  • Bathhouse match — A rarity (this troper only knows of two ever held), but too ridiculous to go unmentioned. A variation of a tag team match, held in a Japanese public bathhouse. Not only that, but a public bathhouse in use: a bunch of guys calmly soap up and rinse off while the active wrestlers wrestle as best they can around them; given that the ground is slippery and gives them no traction for slams, there are no high objects to leap from, and the only "weapons" available are wicker baskets and little plastic buckets they try to sell as excruciatingly painful to be hit with, this is not very well. Their inactive partners, meanwhile, must stay in two separate hot tubs in the back. Periodically the cameras cut to a man adding wood to the fire, making the hot tubs hotter and hotter. The inactive wrestlers wipe their brows from the heat, and occasionally get petulant and splash each other. Inevitably, the active wrestlers "break the rules" and barge into the ladies' side of the bathhouse, resulting in lots of high-pitched squealing and pin-against-the-boob attempts.

Peaches: Maybe it's just a recent pattern I've noticed, but it seems like the winner of a ladder match is always the guy who walks under a ladder. To the point where it's almost a subtrope. I figured I'd ask, because someone can probably prove it wrong.
