- There's a more general Morrowind example. If a character's unarmored skill was high enough there was a good chance that their armor class would go down if they equipped armor. It didn't automatically mean that they'd be fighting in the nude, but, it did mean that there was a serious incentive not to wear armor.
- More incentive to get the most of your acrobatics. This troper in particular made it a point to fight arena battles and major bosses without any equipment at all, and can confirm that it's doable in Oblivion as well. This probably happened a lot due to the "Live off the Land" Self-Imposed Challenge that many players collected bragging rights for.
