split Energy Weapons launched as EnergyWeapon: From YKTTW

Kizor: It looks like Energy Weapon, which had both ranged and melee weapons, was split into Frickin' Laser Beams and Laser Blade, and this page was created as an index. Its discussion page is here. I'm going to merge Frickin' Laser Beams into Energy Weapon, because:
- A: What are you going to think of when you hear "energy weapon"? Rayguns or their ship-mounted equivalents. Guns are the base state of energy weapons. Not only does this make sense in organizing, but the article is easier to use when it has a simple and immediately intuitive name. Cheap puns are good, but only so far as they don't disrupt better things, like usability.
- B: Many energy weapons do not fire beams at all, but slow-moving blobs of energy that are usually either dismissed as plasma or just not explained. By splitting a trope concerning things that go zap into a trope concerning lasers and a trope concerning energy bludgeoning instruments, an important part falls through the cracks.
